Homecoming.
Darkness and light: deep space, dream and science fiction outside of time
“Have you seen a UV disinfectant? Willow asked me.
“Well, I’ve seen one in my cupboard. I’m sorry.
“Yeah, that’s the light. For a little while, on the utensils, the bacteria’ DNA was destroyed and then a piece of dead. When gamma rays come in, we’ll be like the dirty things on your plate, the dirty machines are shut down, the skin is loose, and even the whole child is roasted. That’s an explanation. Do you understand?”
Willow turned around and took off the glasses:
“I’d rather you didn’t bring it back. At least we won’t panic now. Bacteria don’t panic until they’re killed by disinfecting lights. I’m sorry.
To say a word of conscience, this pot should not be left to me, because I am the moon’s mineral exploration team. Last year, I led the team to the Rain Sea, where I found the placard in the center of the mass tumor of the Rain Sea (a gravitational area larger than the surrounding moon watch area). It’s one metre wide, dark red, like a red-hot iron, and it’s like a crumbed belly button, with a regular dot on its surface, foreshadowing to higher civilization. And I remember that the Earth above the head had a light of light, and the small stone crystal was shining, and it was not moving, and it seemed to have waited here long.
I’m so excited that I’m the first person to find out about my intellectual life in the world.
After that, from the Sea of Danger to the East Sea, similar placards were discovered at the centre of the mass tumor. We have not yet figured out how they were transported to the moon, but the information above has been decrypted.
It was a vague warning:
“We are the first civilizations on Earth, long gone. There is nothing we can do but leave an early warning for future global civilization:
1000 light-years away from us is a spherical constellation of stars of very high density, an ancient constellation of stars that will be wooded, where most are dead.
On the outer side of the spherical cluster, there is a large black hole that rotates around it, with a public cycle of 15 million years. The black hole has an extremely high orbital centrifugal rate, and the distance between clusters varies significantly. When close to the constellations, a strong gravitational force may lead to a combination of neutron stars and black holes in the constellations, especially neutron twin stars, which are not far from them. At that point, a large number of gamma-ray storms would be triggered and launched into the universe like holiday fireworks.
As a result of the complex gravitational disturbances within the constellation, one of these rays will point directly to the Earth and our civilization will be destroyed. You’ll have the same disaster in the next black hole cycle. We have no power to change anything, and we hope you will be spared. I’m sorry.
Based on the numbers and formulas on the placard, we found the constellation. If observed by optical telescopes, there is a blurry dark red, like most of the old stars, which is spherical, filled with white dwarfs, neutron stars and star-grade black holes, leaving only a small number of red dwarfs remaining. And at the same time, we traced to the source of a large number of X-rays, and we found the deadly big black hole around the constellation.
Even worse, according to the placard information, more than 900 years ago the black hole had passed the most recent orbital peak of the constellation. The confluence of intraplanetary neutron collisions has been activated, amounting to the disappearance of several solar materials and their transformation into energy. The energy is equal to the sum of all stars in the galaxy that have released light and heat for centuries.
In one of these collisions, a gamma ray is coming from both poles of the star’s magnetic field, and in about 40 years the light will reach Earth, which will be the brightest and last sight that Earth’s people see.

I followed Willowin into a door where there was nothing but big screen space in the conference room, which was a highly confidential teleconference, where the Executive Committee, who did not know each other by name, shared control of the survival of humanity.
“You’re not alone this time? “The number is jumping on the screen and is speaking on behalf of ExCom 16.
“I brought Yang Qinghai. “Littlewood says.
“Yang Qinghai? Is this Yang Qinghai? I’m sorry.
The Death Reporter? I didn’t know the code name. I tried to be an astronaut.
“It’s me. I hate to say this.
“I brought Yang Qinghai because he needed to know. “This is the only turn of the rock crisis, and Yang Qinghai — his first contact with the rock and full training for the moon — will be a key player in future missions. I’m sorry.
Key players? It’s not a good thing. The key players in the film usually end up with a replacement, so I shake my head.
“Take it easy, in order to avoid public panic, the placard crisis is a S+ encryption level, and I’ll just walk in and listen to it. I’m sorry.
Willow ignored my protest and cleared his voice:
“Now, I declare that on the basis of the consensus reached by the Special Emergency Committee on the basis of the vote — after a rigorous demonstration that humankind is no longer alive and civilization is coming to an end. Starting today, we will completely abandon the survival plan and turn our resources towards more meaningful things. I’m sorry.
What? Really?
The air in the dark became condensed, and I stopped and my chest was hammered:
“And 40 years, right? Isn’t there another 40-year-old gamma ray that’s going to get to Earth? From now on, can we put the rest of global production into the development of an interstellar spaceship? Can you at least let some of them escape? I’m sorry.
“Do you really think that the radiostorm is a little light?” Its cross-section diameter is close to 100 light years! It’s less than 50 years to apply controlled fusion. What kind of escape ship would you like to develop with the current technology? Or a black hole engine?”
“Can’t you hide? There’s only one side of the planet that’s going to suffer, right? People can be sent to hide on the other side. I’m asking.
A couple of numbers flashed together on the screen, which represented the simultaneous voice of several participants: “The Earth rotates from time to time, you know which hemisphere was affected? I’m sorry.
I looked to Willowy for help, and he just shook his head: “I can’t predict the exact time of death rays reaching Earth, and even if I send a detector, I can’t bring back any news in advance. Our death is going at the speed of light!” I’m sorry.
And I said, “If we don’t do any early warning, there’s always someone in a hemisphere who can escape.” Whoever it is, if anyone survives…”
The 16th broke me up: “Yes, the gamma violence will only kill one man in the hemisphere, but the other half will be truly unfortunate.” Radiation enters the body with water and air, and the death penalty only becomes longer. Worse still, the ozone layer exposed to gamma-rays will break down in an instant, while the healthy ozone of the other hemisphere will flow with the atmosphere. Soon, the global ozone layer density diluted to the past 40 per cent. The UV received on the ground will be more than 10 times the original UV, and a large number of plants and animals will die as a result, followed by famine and plague, and the population will drop to less than one in 10,000 in a short time. I’m sorry.
I don’t want to die: “An eco-circle can be constructed to isolate ultraviolet light.” If we don’t go underground and plant with artificial light, this will happen at the beginning of the century. When the Earth is self-regulating — perhaps decades before the ozone layer recovers — survivors will come out of the shelter, though few, but that is the flame of civilization! I’m sorry.
“You think we can’t think of such a solution? Pity! When a neutron star impacts, it is sprayed at the same time as the gamma ray, and there is also a body of high-energy and electric particles. It is just a little less than the speed of light and will arrive within decades of the first wave of radiation on Earth. “We can’t predict when it’s coming and what it’s going to hit on Earth.” I’m sorry.
The 6th said, “No one can survive in the hemisphere that it has swept through. I’m sorry.
“The ozone layer is again destroyed and the ground is exposed to excessive UV. I’m sorry.
No. 16: Once again, the fragile ecosystem that has just begun to recover has collapsed, and this time it faces a greater test, which takes several times as long as I repair it. I’m sorry.
“And before the restoration was completed, all the large animals on the surface, including humans, were extinct. #Littlewood Supplement.
“…what? I can’t believe it’s still going to be a radiation strike… “And I muffled, and despaired like a cold rock, upon its back.
Can you imagine? Survivors came out of the stinking ecological silos and began, with hope, to transform the saline. But the seeds that have been planted have not yet sprung, yet another wave of deadly radiation strikes have taken them out in the same way. It’s like God holding a bacterial disinfectant lamp in his hand, pressing the switch twice, just moving his finger for him, and for us… it’s the price of hope for total destruction! I’m sorry.
I felt my throat shrouded, salivad and moaned: “So what do you want me to do?” I’m sorry.
“We need you to polish the moon. I’m sorry.
“…well? What do you mean? Why are you doing this?”
The Willowin waved and was clearly exhausted: “No explanation, let’s vote first. If you agree to abandon the escape plan and to devote all resources to the moon polishing programme, please turn the light on. I’m sorry.
In the second that the voice fell, dozens of numbers appeared on the big, dark screen. In the dark conference rooms, the light appeared high and bright, and tears were shed from the sudden light of my eyes.
— When decades later the light that took the life of all mankind shines, will I shed tears as it is now?
(ii)
What do the ancients mean by night?
When they see it dark, they think it’s night; if they see the moon, it’s night; if it fits his heart, it deserves a poem:
“The moon shall shine before the bed,
Suspected on the ground.
I’m sorry.
Think low. I’m sorry.
And We bowed down with a poem, but under my feet was the moon, covered with tan, plentiful, complex blue ball, wrapped in a thin atmosphere. That is the home.
Thirteen thousand members of the moon polishing project came to the moon nine times. As project team commander, I was the first of them.
In contrast to more than a year of visiting the Moon, the last launch brought together the media and dignitaries who gave me flowers and toast like heroes. And this time we’ll have to walk away.
“The lunar helium-3 was extended. This is the public statement of the moon polishing program.
The resources required for the polishing programme are astrometric, and even with the full support of the world ‘ s top 10 economies, such a high level of expenditure is contrary to economics. The Great Depression is now a source of anger over “the power of the Earth to extract helium-3 from the Moon”.
The knowledge base can only keep telling the outside world that “nuclear fusion requires helium, energy revolution leads society to the future.” This is purely implausible, because the truth can only cause great confusion. Fortunately, in the face of the crisis, there was a strange degree of solidarity at the top.
This strategic problem has not affected me, because from the moment of landing on the moon, the biggest project in human history has occupied all my time.
Some preparatory work is needed before the moon is polished. It’s like a car or a floor before waxing. So is the moon.
On the surface of the Moon there is a fine layer of dust, which has evolved from billions of years of meteoric impact. This layer of moon is in fact very numerous, reaching a thickness of more than 10 metres in most areas. We cannot pile it to the back of the moon once and for all, because if we do so, the latter will become heavier and, with the tidal force, it will turn back slowly. It’s so easy to clean up its face, it turns its ass over again.
There’s no air on the moon, so we have to deal with dust, not even a strong vacuum cleaner. It’s stupid to use a shovel to gather the moon, pack it and send it to space.
We chose the lower-cost transport method — solar electromagnetic dispensers. This is the same principle as the Gossian cannon, which was used on Earth as an intercontinental missile. The lunar surface has been placed in orbits of hundreds of metres, with a Lorenzli to be used to speed up the `capacitating capsules’ that fill the Moon. Fortunately, the moon has little gravity and no air resistance, with a speed of 2.4 km/s to remove the dust.
At one point, dozens of electromagnetic projectors swung along the surface of the moon and constantly launched capsules out of the moon; thousands of large shovels continued to gather the Moon’s borders, and the world seemed busy in the cold months.
The dust was cleaned, and there was a layer of rubble several kilometres thick on the surface of the Moon. At the same time, the moon is not even, with hills, highlands, moon seas. So we have to continue to do it, and we have to fill the moon’s sea with the rubble, and we have to level the hills, and we’re going to make the rest of the waste and throw it into space with an electromagnetic projector.
In the course of the implementation of the project, I heard that human panic reached its peak at this time — a time when the moon and the sea could be seen on Earth to become light. If seen in telescopes, the edge of the Moon Sea becomes smooth, and the dark-colour basal rock that spreads to high-light areas becomes shallow gray.
Conspiracy theories, questioning noises, the streets were filled with perpetrators and slogans, and panickers began to go to the supermarket to buy salt and rice (I don’t understand, can salt and rice be radioactive? The prophecy of the Maya and the curse of Pharaoh, which had been obsolete a hundred years ago, came back.
Mankind has never been so desperate to lie to them.
The Supreme Emergency Response Commission found Mr. Wang the richest in the world, who was the first person to come into contact with the inside of the crisis, in addition to the military and political circles. The media company under his banner immediately announced to the public that it would launch a lunar launch campaign, launch 84 lunar-synchronous orbit sub-satellites, use the moon as a screen and project client advertisements on it for viewing by potential global consumers.
Since then, people have raised their heads around the night before and after the new month and can see different images on the moon. If it’s a huge red-floor yellow word “M”, it’s McDonald’s ad, and if it’s four white rings connected, it’s Ody’s ad.
Mr. Wang further announced that, in order to better expand their operations, in the future they would join the military to transform the Moon into a smooth curtain for more sophisticated pixel advertising by their clients.
It is surprising that this business logic has not been called into question and has been hailed as “a new innovation of mass communication”. It is said that when Mr. Wang was interviewed in the media and asked how to think about this gifted way of spreading, he once choked: “Every human innovation has hidden bitterness behind it. I’m sorry.
This statement, with tears, touched all the journalists present and was rated by Forbes magazine as the most valuable commercial motto of the year. But there are very few in the world who really knew why Mr. Wang was crying.
In any case, with this layer of commercial disguise, my work has worked well. Twenty years later, all the hills were bulldozed, all the bumps above the plane were removed, the moon sea was turned to a plain, and the pits on the rubble were covered with concrete.
When the full moon is full, the moon is like a white rubber ball, with no more past pits quenching and reflecting a fine white light. At that point, the preparatory work was completed and formal waxing could begin.
With regard to polished materials, no ordinary floor wax can of course be used, with a melting point of around 80 degrees centigrade and a maximum temperature of 127 degrees Celsius during the day on the surface of the moon. Although the rate of reflection has increased with waxes and the temperature of the Moon should have decreased somewhat, it is not reliable. It’s a mess when the melted wax flows around and comes together under the current power of the Earth.
In contrast, a high-molecular reflector coating (with a melting point above 300°C) is much more sophisticated than direct waxing.
The surface area of the Moon is 3.8 x 10 ^7 square kilometres, using 3.5 kg of reflective paint for 100 square metres, if twice. A simple mathematical question, full of moons, requires high-molecular reflective paints of about 1.3 x 10^9 tons, or 1.3 billion tons.
But in fact, that’s not enough. Because the tide locks, the moon spends the same time around the earth, and it always looks at the ground with a fixed half of its face, and if only for visual effects, it can handle the half of its visible face.
Of course, the moon cannot be ignored. For people on the ground, the moon can meet with small swings up and down, and actually 59 per cent of the surface of the moon can be observed on Earth. So, the part that really waits for the polishing is actually 59% of the moon’s area, 7,700 million tons of paint.
The varnishing process lasted 17 years. During the day and at night, flat-coloured sprayers travel through the moon, equilibrating high-molecular paints, then heating them on the surface, so that an inch of the moon becomes bright. By the end of the long project, I’ve grown some white hair.
“How long can this smooth moon last?” “I stand at the gate of the general engineering base and look at the bright moon watch.
“It must have been a long time, but now it’s over the solar system’s bombing period, with few and basically very small meteorites. “Liusen said he was the son of Willowin and my deputy.
“Yes, otherwise the moon has no protection of the atmosphere, and any meteorite can drive straight in. We can’t set up a maintenance team here and hit it once. I’m sorry.
In the middle of a heavy space suit, I still felt the frustration of Lyussen: “Hey, it’s so hard, after all, do they really understand our suffering?” I’m sorry.
“I don’t know. I’m telling the truth.
The full moon reflects more than 90 percent, and we’re like we’re on a lake, and we can see a picture of the Earth on the side of our feet, and the one on the sky. The Milky Way also has two, one at the top of its head and the other at the bottom of its feet, where we are warmly wrapped in the sky.
But there is a cost to the sky.
In those stars, countless supernova eruptions and a combination of stars are taking place, and gamma-ray bursts are being launched like a laser gun in the hands of children, shooting at random the light of death in all directions. This is not the first time that 15 million years ago the last Earth civilization was destroyed.
(iii)
“Why don’t they leave the stones on Earth? If we’d read the early warning, we’d be ready to escape! I’m sorry.
That’s what I asked Willow. I was also on Earth, just taking up the position of commander of the Moon Project, and Yolein had a party bar run by him and me, on the top of the launch centre administration building, where we could see the remote launching towers, except for the desert.
And he took a sip of wine, and opened his mouth: “O forget, it is only with matter that the information is in order, and it is not eternal. 200 years after the disappearance of humans, man-made skyscrapers fall in geological activity and rain erosion; the biggest arch bridge collapses in 1,000 years; and 5,000 years later, all of this artificial material, glass and plastic, has been wiped out, and all remains are difficult to trace. I’m sorry.
“What you mean is that, no matter what form of early warning the previous civilization left on Earth, there will be no trace of it when we appear. I’m sorry.
“Yes, the evolution of civilization takes hundreds, millions of years, at this time scale, without any information! A placard with words on it will be tarnished on Earth and squeezed into the ground by geological movements and transformed into magma. Even if nature did not eliminate it, it would probably be destroyed as something like a witch if it was found by humans during the obscurantism period. I’m sorry.
“So the last civilization chose the moon! I realized, “There is little geological activity on the Moon, and the vacuum is a good preservation environment.” When civilization has mastered the technology of landing on the moon and is almost capable of reading it, when it finds a placard, there will be no jokes. They’re very thoughtful! I’m sorry.
The Willow noded, and he lit a cigarette: “I guess they’re not too far away from our technology today when they leave the text. Who knows, it may also have been after the moon’s expedition witnessed the Earth’s disaster and left a sign as a warning. I’m sorry.
“But so what? It’s not until we get to the point where we can’t get away. It seems that the fate of civilization on this planet is the fate of being destroyed once and for all by cyclical gamma-ray bursts.
Willows slugped ash in the ashtray: “It’s another 40 years! Since there is no escape, perhaps something can be done. The next civilization on Earth will be sent more signals, and perhaps they will be able to flee the solar system and go to deep space before the gamma storm of the next cycle. I’m sorry.
“It’s hard, I’m afraid. In the same period of gamma violence, the level of development of human civilization is similar to that of previous civilizations, which is sufficient to demonstrate that the development of Earth’s civilization is linear. If the moon is the only place to store the right information, and the next generation of civilizations will be able to access it, the raystorm will be coming again! They can’t do anything. I’m sorry.
“So, this time we have to try something new. “You know the mirror self-identification test? It’s also called MSR.
I don’t know, “You mean, the mirror experiment with the evolutionary psychologist Gallope? Let the animals look in the mirror and see if they understand that what’s in the mirror is themselves… I remember that, apart from humans, only dolphins, killer whales and some primates could recognize themselves in the mirror. I’m sorry.
“Yes, the animal is self-aware through a mirror test. In addition, Gallup tested the baby.”
“He’s so free,” I said, “But I have a question: What does a baby look like in the mirror have to do with my mission to the moon? I’m sorry.
Yoolin ignored me and went on to say, “The experiment found that a six-month-old baby would see himself in the mirror and treat him like another baby. But by 24 months, it’s known it’s yourself. After that point in time, they began to understand themselves and the outside world. For example, a six-month-old baby heard another child cry, and his reaction was to cry with him, but with the concept of “self,” he would look for the other child’s reasons for crying and even comfort him. I’m sorry.
“So what?”
“Don’t you get it? With a sense of self-awareness, people can use their experience to judge what is around them; they can begin to think about their relationship with the past, the present and the future; they can even feel the necessity of their own death; they can begin to work together and begin to observe the world. It’s because you’re human! I’m sorry.
I’m very confused: “Even if you’re right, But something like self-awareness, I’m afraid the southern apes will see a reflection in the water. So what? It’s been 4 million years. I’m sorry.
“The ancient Chinese have interpreted all stars in purple micro-doves as a revelation of the political economy; in the Greek mythology, 88 stars in the night sky corresponded to 88 stories of God, and the Greeks considered the sacrifice of the gods to be of paramount importance; and the Christian will burn down all the theories of antitheism, the debates about the Japanese and the earth’s words that have lasted in Europe for centuries … Man does not understand the stars, nor does he understand himself, and has wasted too much time on the curve. It’s too late when we’re being opened to science and trying to explore the world with reason! “A man needs a mirror to see himself. Why doesn’t Earth civilization need a mirror?” I’m sorry.
“What do you mean by “civilization also requires self-awareness?” You need to see yourself? “I am not foolish, but I understand what he is saying.
“Yes, if civilization saw itself in the mirror, it would have understood earlier the relationship between the Earth, the Sun and the stars, instead of wasting time on the question of who created himself in the past, and beginning to think about where the future should go.” We’re going to create a mirror of Earth’s civilization. I’m sorry.
“So the moon is polished? Turn the moon into a mirror! A visible mirror! I’m excited to say.
“Yes, to turn the moon into a spherical mirror 3,500 kilometres in diameter. On the full moon’s night, the moon is facing the sun, and from the earth the moon will not see the contours, but the sun in the mirror. It looks smaller than the real sun and has a much lower brightness because of the radiance of the spherical mirrors, but it is well above the past moon and can read a book at night. I’m sorry.
“So the image of the sun is a bright star! I said,
“Yes. At that time, the Earth was able to reflect some light into the moon, and a dark image of the Earth appeared in the moon mirror, because of the strong moon’s light on the night hemisphere. I’m sorry.
“Do you say that someone will realize that that’s what the Earth looks like? Does anyone understand that the bright star next to it is the sun of day? * I paint a star sky like that in my head *
“In another time, everything would be different. For example, the first eight months of the lunar and ecstasy that could have been seen in the first half of the month, the lunar and ecstasy surfaces, the moon mirrors, the half of the Earth where the sun shines from the edge of the ball, the brightness is weak and the shape changes are severe. Although the moon profile after the polishing is not visible, the size of the moon can be estimated with the information of these monthly changes. Believe me, there’s gonna be smart people doing this! I’m sorry.
“Yes! You know the size of the moon, you know the Earth, you know the sun. I’m on the way.
“At the beginning of the agricultural calendar, the moon appeared during the day, and the moon was polished and the Earth’s day was reflected. At that point, people would see a picture of the Earth in the sky during the day. Even before the telescopes were invented, the observers should be able to blur the sight of a circular object in the sky, which rotates slowly every day. The pattern on this object shows a strange deformation effect, and I think someone will link this phenomenon to the spherical mirror, deduce that it’s the image of the Earth, and then realize that the Earth is spherical and is spinning. Moreover, whenever the image of the Earth is always in the mirror, it can be inferred from the relationship between the moon, the Earth and the sun. I’m sorry.
“And! When telescopes are invented, observing images in the air can also help them to recognize the Earth. I read the moon mirror, astronomer, geography, physics… oh! Philosophy, one mirror at a time, and God knows what new philosophies the new civilization will bring! I’m sorry.
Willow picks up a glass of wine on the table and suggests I raise a glass together. Today’s table is not rich and the wine is thin, but right now I look at the wine in my hand as if in this cup is a poem written by all the writers in the history of the planet, all the paintings.
Outside the window or in the wind. I asked:
“Though you say so much… do you think the intelligent life of the future on Earth really understands our suffering? I’m sorry.
“…to be honest, I don’t know. Willows will drink all they can.
(iv)
The voice of Lewson pulled me out of my memories 40 years ago:
“We removed the last solar electromagnetic dispenser from the moon, while today was the first day on Earth. I’m sorry.
“Well, the moon polishing project is over, and it’s going to be hard for you to do the full Earth return. Remember, the public continues to be kept secret and the truth can only lead them to panic. I’m sorry.
“I understand. Just… Commander Yang, are you sure you’re not going back to Earth? Although a few hibernations were placed under the shell, it was only for emergency purposes, and even if the energy were to continue, it would last up to 50000 years. I’m sorry.
“I know, it’s for a coffin. Let me ask you something. How many years have we lived? Less than a year, right? I’ve been thinking about the moon since I was a kid, and I’ve spent 40 years on polishing, and I want to stay here forever. It’s nice to be around the world, not far from home, not alone. I’m sorry.
“Well, there are not many things we can choose before we live or die.” Well, good luck. I’m sorry.
I laughed too.
But at this point, there was no sign of a pink light on the already bleak moon. I was suddenly alert and asked, “What’s going on? I’m sorry.
In response to a few remarks from the radio in his ear, Lewson replied: “Nothing big, the Earth knows we’ve dismantled the electromagnetic projector, and Mr. Wang’s company has started advertising the moon again. I’m sorry.
“I see, he’s committed. Now, however, with such a high rate of reflection, advertising must be much worse than it is, and it is not clear what excuse it is for continuing to fool around. I stopped here, “Remember this quarterly advertising order… is Apple? It’s silver and white. How’s the pink light?”
“Responding to the commander, this is the case: today is Mr. Wang ‘ s anniversary of his marriage, and he paid in advance a large sum of money for apples, returning today ‘ s lunar billboard and making his wife ‘ s love known. I’m sorry.
“Hey, no wonder it’s pink. It’s good to have money. He can play with it at his age.” I said, “What did he write on the moon? We’ll follow. I’m sorry.
“Well, love… love you till the end of the world. I’m sorry.
“…”
Until the end of the world… . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and I and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
In the pink light of the sky, the two of us big men are particularly embarrassed. But I also know that if the moon turns into a pink heart on Earth, all the girls in the world think it’s so romantic that they want a young man to give himself a heart like that in the future. But only Mr. Wang knew that the heart could still beat for a year at most, and when it stopped, he would hold the hand of the woman he loved.
Love you till the end of the world… it’s good to have money, asshole…
“Commander Yang, let’s say goodbye. Tomorrow I will return to Earth with the great forces. I’ll bring your regards to Father. “Lyusen says under that heart.
“Who wants to greet him?” What the hell is this? I’m sorry.
I was sent away, and I turned around along a long stairwell, and it was really long enough for me to remember my life, and for me to be redundant and envious of the people on Earth, who went to work, laughed and cried, and they passed a day of hope until…
After the drop, the hibernation pod was opened, and I was lying in, and the gas mixed with the anesthesia began to release, and the consciousness was growing and perhaps death was an eternal dream.
I knew it was like a dream. What was I afraid of?
(v)
One.
I dreamt of an unusually bright night bright as a 12-hour dawn.
After the sound, the bush shuddered and drilled out a beaver, and now it’s a large mammal of the few and a few. Thanks to its tenacity of rodents, its proximity to water, and the water and its own nests, it became its refuge.
It leaps into the river and swims down, swimming like a dog scratch, and the thick and dense fur is oily in the water. The beavers cannot understand why, over the years, the tall, fierce, strong creatures have died one by one. But it’s invisible and it’s getting better and better. Thunderstorms cause an acid rain around the globe, which is a good signal that nitrogen oxides go down into marginal land and act as fertilizer; oxygen molecules further oxidize in high-energy discharges — and the ozone layer is recovering.
The entrance to the sea is very close, the beavers enter the water surface, but after a long search, they do not find the edible watergrass and twigs, and only a few crustaceans are found in the mud.
At that point, a gray shadow flashed, and the beaver stunned, throwing the crabs and running away.
The shadow was a sea otter that took the crabs thrown down by the beavers. Today, dead animals are on the ground, but with excessive UV radiation, their bodies are long gone and difficult to swallow, and this crab is a rare food.
Like all skunks, sea otters have hair and sharp teeth that provide strong protection, but they are not suitable for canning. With a trophy, he floats up in the water, moistens with his belly, finds a rock, and strikes the crab’s shell with a rhythm:
Boom, boom, boom.
The hairy head of the sea otter is on its back, and the bean eyes look at the night sky. Its eyes are focused on a particularly bright spot in the night sky, and it is the light it sends to make the night so bright. There seems to be a round shadow next to this little bright spot…
The sound of a cylindrical is that the thick shells of the crabs are finally crushed by stones. The otters carry it to their mouths, sucking up their organs with joy.
Two.
The history of oral transmission dates back 5,000 years, starting with stones.
The ancients of the brackish-water civilization hunt for fish and shrimp, and for hard-shelled creatures like sea urchins, find a rock to crush it.
If you meet a rock that works, hide it and use it again. Gradually, the ancients also made some distinctions in the use of stones — sharp stones plowing the shellfish, heavy stones crushing crabs’ claws.
Why don’t you build yourself a rock?
The first person to think so was called “Crushed Man” in the hereafter, who led the brackish civilization into the Stone Age. The stone is made from the first fall to the fine grinding. The Crusher found that stones were processed not only to feed, but also to do more intuitive things, such as sutures with stone needles.
For saltwater civilization, the world is wrapped in a giant mussels. The mussel eats, spreads out the two husks, and the sun comes through, it’s daytime. The mussels are going to sleep. Close the shell and block the light. It’s dark. The holes in the shell are scattered through the light, the stars that look away. Every 20 days, this mussel produces a big pearl, a gift to God — a bright star.
Because bright stars appear every 20 days, 5-6 nights are brighter than the rest. During these missed nights, salt-water civilized women make clothes and grinders, while men educate their young children to fish in the sea.
But there are also rare times when they need to fight their enemies from the sweet water civilization. The beavers! Houses are always built with wooden branches on the riverways, with wooden spears and bows running into the tribe of salt water civilization. The nest is the head of the group of freaks and is said to have been the first to come up with ideas for building buildings and mills.
With its mouth gnawing the dam (how savagely!), it has a plumb on the opening valve, water flows through the valve, pushes the plumb into the foundations, and with a deeper foundation, the beavers can live in a safe high floor. But ironically, they are born without a smart hand. What’s the point of just eating wood? You know, rocks are civilization, wood is backward!
Light Star is on top. Please punish those stupid beavers!

“Why are our nights like this? I’m sorry.
The beaver can live 20 years of age, and from the age of three years of age, gabello began to think about it, for 17 years.
Gabelo is an excellent dammer. The inhabitants of a sweet water country are good at calculating, measuring topographic data, and adapting different structures to the landscape: some intercept rivers, some provide power, half of them are not in the water, they can grow watergrass, and others have star maps that are used to observe the sky. These houses are in the bay of the river. Rivers are like their blood; they drive gears in grinder rooms; they drive saws to the bottom of trees; they also flow into boilers to heat the rooms of newborns.
The biggest city in the water was designed by Gabelo. But now he’s out of business, trying to figure out why there’s a blue ball in the sky. The ball looks different at different times, sometimes complete and sometimes only partially visible. It even happens during the day.
He knew that it was not possible to look in the eyes alone and needed better observation equipment. But beavers can’t make sophisticated instruments, and only sea otters can do it.
Although the battle of the beavers, which lasted thousands of years, ended in the last century, the gap between the two communities remained intact. Fortunately, as one of the most capable craftsmen in the sea otters, who did not believe in otterism, he was pleased to be commissioned to create a barrel machine, based on a model calculated by Gabelo, each with a sharpened lens that magnifies the picture from afar.
With this machine, Gabe has been observing the sky, and has come to the conclusion that there is some correlation between changes in the blue green sphere and the emergence of bright stars.
“The world may not be a mussel. “Gabello says his big teeth are rubbing around the table.
“Shh, the star’s on top. That’s not bullshit. God will send down the tsunami…” “The typhus kept his hand over Gavelo’s mouth and couldn’t hold his big teeth.
“The bright star is the sun. I’m sorry.
“What are you talking about? The sun is a fireball, the star is a pearl…”
Gabelo had a draft paper in front of him, drawing three ball balls of different sizes by a bunch of formulas and numbers, which were connected to a line: “What if there was a spherical mirror in the sky and the world was in the middle of the mirror and the sun? I’m sorry.
“Oh, no! The star will be angry! I’m sorry.

On the scene of the launch, the president of the Beaver Union is speaking, and behind him is the emblem that symbolizes the peaceful development of the Sweet Salt Alliance. – Rocks on behalf of sea otters and stakes on behalf of beavers are rounded up around the Earth.
“The mirror puzzle is one of the world’s seven enigma.” Once upon a time, mirrors helped us understand the solar system and left us with no doubt — who put that mirror next to the Earth? What do they want? To help us, to deter us, or just a simple prank? In the history of beaver civilization, numerous hypotheses and theories have been put forward. Today, a spacecraft condensing the science of beavers and the technology of sea otters will go to the mirror and open this mystery.
Let us all look to the astronauts to go to the mirror and write a new chapter of hope for the development of otter civilization! I’m sorry.
Applause moved under the stage, but if you listened carefully, the applause was divided into two parts: a bang from an otter’s elbow and a crack from a beaver hitting the ground with his tail.

“We have four dreams in your mind that correspond to four important historical nodes of otter civilization. I hope to help you understand our past. I’m sorry.
The hibernation module initiated recovery procedures.
Who was that? Wait, wait, wait. What happened? I’m not dead?
Did the hibernation device fail? I was trying to pick up the hand-to-hand screen and figure out how long I was asleep. At that point, a language I can understand:
“15 million years. Hello. You spent 15 million years in hibernation. I’m sorry.
“How is that possible? If that were the case, the hibernation system would have broken! I’m sorry.
“Look around the device again. I’m sorry.
I realized that the sound was electro-synthetic, and that no wonder it was so rigid. I have not recovered my body. I sat up and looked around.
“Aah! I don’t know all the machines. What’s going on? I’m sorry.
“The gamma-ray storm did not kill you at the depths of the hibernation pod below the monthly watch. But after 50,000 years, you’re still dying. Fortunately, the Moon environment and old hibernation pods are ideal for physical preservation. And when we find your body 10 million years later, we can barely read the information you have stored in your brain. I’m sorry.
“You mean I’m dead? But I’m fine now. I’m sorry.
“We cloned you in your time. But it’s not accurate, but in real-life, we’re re-breeding every cell in you and then combining it. It’s better than cloning. You don’t need to be raised from a single cell. We’ve also carved the physical state of your brain into a second before hibernation, as if your memory had been transplanted. And there’s the good news that you are now the way you were when you were 21. Congratulations. I’m sorry.
I didn’t have time to digest this information and ask, “Who are you?” I’m sorry.
“We are the civilization of the Earth after mankind. We came to the mirror, the moon in your concept, found you, and left you this voice. Now we’re not on this planet. I’m sorry.
“That’s a smart message. I’m sorry.
“First of all, thank you and your colleagues for the vital message left to us by the Moon Shining Project. Bright nights give us more time to learn, and mirrors give us the opportunity to look at ourselves. After 10 million years of hibernation, we’ll have the ability to go to the moon, to find you, and to receive a warning from you. And since then, we’ve developed an almost light-speed spacecraft for 1,000 years, and we’ve spent about 10,000 years moving all the inhabitants of the planet. The ship moved into three different galaxies in the galaxy, opening the age of interstellar migration. We’re not going to be destroyed by any more disaster, thanks to your mirrors! I’m sorry.
“So you’re done? And you just said I slept 15 million years? Why did you wake me up five million years ago? I’m sorry.
“Huh? Didn’t you say you wanted to sleep on the moon? I’m sorry.
“Is this an otter’s sense of humor? I’ve been sleeping for 10 million years. I’m sorry.
“That was a joke, please don’t mind,” he seemed to try to imitate the human tone, awkward and awkward: “We have left the Earth, but gamma-ray storms are still on schedule, and Earth’s ecology is going to experience a new nihilism. The new civilization is about to begin again. Once upon a time, humanity gave us a smooth moon; and now, the gift we want to leave to the next civilization is you — Yang Qinghai, the martyr. I’m sorry.
“What? What do you mean?”
“We adapted your hibernation to wake you up after a new round of gamma storms — yes, you experienced two gamma-ray storms in your sleep. And your body is different. You don’t age, you don’t die from external force. – The technology is not complicated for us. It’s stored in the leftovers. You can learn. You’re not gonna die anyway. There’s plenty of time. I’m sorry.
“Why should I learn this?”
“We have also left you with a shuttle to Earth, with sufficient material and equipment, from weapons to recreational facilities. These things, along with all the scientific and technological achievements of our civilization, have opened their access to you. Take these back to Earth where you can build anything you want. I’m sorry.
“But why should I go back to Earth? What am I doing there alone? I’m sorry.
“The gamma-ray storm has just passed and everything will continue in the new cycle. After two civilizations, don’t you have anything to say about future children? I’m sorry.
Listen here, I’m a little tight. The electro-synthesis continues:
“You can tell them about the crisis of black holes and neutron stars, about the past and future of the planet, about the names of everyone who died for civilization, and about the songs you sang as children. Thou shalt not be old nor die, the Most High, the Wise. You will be the only God who will lead the living out of ignorance until you reach the stars. I’m sorry.
“Deep in the sky?” …the stars have a price. “I suddenly remembered that I had lamented many years ago in the face of an ubiquitous crisis in the sky.
“There is one thing to tell you before you leave: you found a placard in the moon’s rain, which is not the first civilization on Earth. Long before that, intelligent life on Earth tried to send warnings of crises between generations in various ways, some succeeded and the next civilization developed at a rapid pace; others failed, and the next civilization was killed by rays without receiving information. This blue planet breeds civilization over and over again precisely because of the cost of the sky, the crisis in the sky is the driving force behind the evolution of civilization and the final destination of civilization at its depth. The sky has a price, but it’s the sky.”
After that sound, it stopped squeaking.
I came out of the hibernation in the depths of the moon shell. I can’t understand the level of their technology and how they can turn my body into something that doesn’t separate my equipment and walk on the moon. In a vacuum, I have no feeling of pain, nor can I feel joy, looking at strange and familiar bodies, a vast sense of emptiness, and I wonder what to do.
And then I looked up, and I saw that the Earth was blowing light, and the sky was shining, and it was still light blue, like stones, like a tear, like the beginning of all the stories.
Oh, yeah. What did they call me? The Death Reporter?
I shed tears, but there was no air pressure in the vacuum, and the drops boiled on my face, and when the heat was over, they condensed into tiny crystals.
It seems I’ve come to bring bad news to the next civilization.
The first time I brought back a stone.
The second time I polished the moon.
Thirdly, I will tell them in person a story, a legend of the life and extinction of civilization on this planet.
The end–
