5. Taiwan’s most fierce bandit: the kidnapping case of a rich and powerful family that shocked Baodao.

Taiwan’s First Fierce Bandit: The Kidnapping Case

of a Rich and Powerful Family That Shocked Taiwan Fierce Bandit’s Violent Record: Counting the Motive and the End

of the Crime When it comes to kidnapping and extortion, many people know about Cheung Tze-keung, the Hong Kong kidnapper who kidnapped Li Ka-shing’s eldest son, but they know very little about another Taiwanese kidnapper who is as “fierce” as he is. The ransom demanded by this fierce bandit from the Tainan mountain area can also be called a sky-high price. The large number of crimes he committed and the short time interval between them made the rich people in the Taiwan Island nervous, and even made the Taiwan police headache.

Part of the public kidnapping case, part of the public kidnapping case

, this fierce bandit is greedy, cruel, advocating force, but quite different from other fierce bandits. Although he kidnapped the suspect, he did not kill him; although he did not kill him, he had in his hands a large number of US military-grade weapons and equipment. With the support of high-powered weapons, people

outside the law will be even more unscrupulous and do whatever they want. In particular, a fierce gunfight comparable to a Hollywood gangster movie in July 2004 caused the people on the island to have a great fear of this person, and also questioned the ability of the police to punish the rioters. The arrest of this

fierce bandit is also full of drama. Although he saved his life several times in the hail of bullets that captured him, he finally fell on the online game.

Who is he What exactly did he do? How did he walk on the edge of society? Let’s start with a kidnapping case 16 years ago.

Time: January 7, 2004, 3:00

p.m. Location: Taiwan Island Nantou Zhongxing

Radio’s famous FM radio program “Fucun Club” DJ Hong Junyan finished the day’s live broadcast, arranged the next day’s work, and packed up his bag. Ready to drive home. Sitting in his Mercedes Benz,

Hong Junyan had just lit the fire when he saw a man outside the window smiling and motioning to him, as if to inquire about something. Hong Junyan opened the window, and before he could speak, the man’s hand in his right pocket stretched out, and then a dark gun was aimed at him.

Hong Junyan was so frightened that he gasped, as if frozen all over, and dared not make any movement. At the same time, a Mitsubishi station wagon suddenly appeared in front of the Mercedes Benz, and before it could stop, the door opened and a black and thin man jumped out of it. Without saying a word, the man pulled Hong Junyan, who was already petrified, out of the Mercedes and stuffed him into the Mitsubishi. As the car door slammed shut, Hong Junyan’s head was covered with a cloth bag, and his eyes darkened, only to hear the harsh sound of the car tires rubbing against the ground. At that moment, a hard object was pressed against his right waist, and a man’s voice came to his ear: “If you want to live, keep your mouth shut!”

Hong Junyan’s back was soaked with cold sweat at this time, so he had to do it obediently.

Hong Junyan was taken away

outside the ZTE radio station.

Hong Junyan was taken away

outside the ZTE radio station. I don’t know how long the car drove. The sound of the heavy traffic outside gradually fell silent. Hong Junyan knew that he had been taken to the suburbs. Where

on earth was he taken? It turned out that after the kidnappers left Chung Hsing Radio Station with Hung Chun-yen, they had been walking around on various roads until it was almost dark when they stopped in the mountains of Taitung County. The kidnappers with guns abandoned Hung Chun-yen’s Mercedes Benz in the woods by the side of the road. A group of people in the Mitsubishi car continued to drive for a while, until they were ready to go up the mountain. After several hours of trekking in the dark in the

mountains, Hong Junyan followed the kidnappers into a simple shed and was tied to a corner by a chain with his hands tied up. The skinny black kidnapper came up to him and asked, “Do you know who I am?”

“I don’t know.” Hong Junyan shook his head, searching hard for memories of the face in his mind. Has he seen this man? Have you ever had a grudge against him? The answer is no. Could it be that his father had offended someone when he was a county councilman? It’s hard to say.

But it is certain that he is the leader here, the leader of the bandits.

The man smiled contemptuously when he saw Hung’s frightened face. “You’re still young,” he continued. “When I first tied someone up, you were still a good boy in the middle school.”

“You are..” With the new key words, Hong Junyan’s brain began to search in the memory bank of junior high school. He only remembered that eight or nine years ago there were so many kidnappings in the news that he was worried about whether his family would be kidnapped one day, but then most of the criminals were caught and he stopped worrying. The thin black man

in front of us should be a fish that slips through the net.

Just as he was thinking about it, the man handed him the mobile phone that had been stolen when he got on the bus. He said, “Tell your father that you have been kidnapped. If you want to go home safely for the Spring Festival, you must prepare a ransom of 100 million yuan for Xiaohei within three days.” As soon as

Hung Chun-yen heard the word “little black,” his heart tightened, and a piece of news that had figured prominently in the newspaper many years ago came to his mind.

At that time, he was still in junior high school, and he was at an age when he was interested in police and bandits stories. A wealthy businessman surnamed Chen and his assistant were kidnapped. At that time, the kidnappers also asked for a ransom of hundreds of millions of yuan, but the police arrived in time to rescue the hostages before the ransom was paid. I heard that all the principal criminals fled to the mainland later, and one of them was Xiaohei.

After many years, the kidnapping of 100 million yuan actually fell on his head, the world is unpredictable ah!

Hong Junyan swallowed a mouthful of saliva and looked at Xiao Hei. He still couldn’t believe that the bandit who brought him here was Xiaohei, who had kidnapped a wealthy businessman, killed an arms dealer, and dealt with the police in Taiwan and the mainland for eight years! Can

the police find him in the mountains? Hong Junyan thought of this and felt despair in his heart.

Left: Young Hong Junyan Right: His father Hong Fucun

Left: Young Hung Chun-yen Right: His father, Hung

Fu-tsun, who lives in Fuhsingli, Nantou City, used to be a member of the Changhua County Council. After suffering a stroke two years ago, he no longer held any public office and rested at home. The Hong family is a big family, if there are no special circumstances, the whole family will have dinner together every day, but today the youngest son Hong Junyan did not come back.

Hong Junyan’s grandmother was very anxious. The old man called his favorite grandson many times, but every time the phone prompted the other party that the network was not smooth. When I called his office, my colleague said that he had left early after work. He also contacted several friends of Hong Junyan and said that he had not seen him today. Hongfu Village is also worried. Where is the youngest son? He even called the emergency rooms of several hospitals to ask if anyone who had just been in a car accident had been brought in, and the answer was still no.

Can only continue to wait, but Hongfu village has a sense of foreboding.

Near midnight, the phone suddenly rang, and Hung Fu-tsun immediately picked it up. From the phone came the voice of his youngest son, who was crying: “Dad, I’ve been kidnapped, and they want a ransom of 100 million.”

Hong Fucun was startled and first wondered if it was his son’s prank, but immediately denied the idea. “Where are you?” He asked tentatively? Who are you with? On the other end of the

phone came the “whine” of a gagged mouth, followed by a rustle and a chain clatter that sounded like a physical conflict.

“Don’t hurt him!” Hong Fucun shouted into the phone. By this time, the Hong family had gathered around him, and his wife and mother were crying out of control.

“Mr. Hong, we won’t hurt him,” said a strange voice with a strong Tainan accent on the phone. “The premise is that you must prepare a ransom of 100 million yuan for me within three days.”

“Who are you?” Hong Fucun asked in a harsh voice, although he did not think the other side would tell the truth.

“I’m Blackie.” Immediately, the phone was hung up.

Hong Fucun slowly put down the phone, accompanied by his wife and mother crying more and more, and fell into fear. He certainly remembered the nickname, which had become almost synonymous with terror and crime. Now Blackie himself not only came back, but also took his youngest son hostage!

Hongfu Village immediately called the police. After the

police received the alarm call, they were shocked that someone dared to kidnap the son of a former congressman and offer a sky-high price of NT 100 million yuan. This is too rampant!

The police sent people to the radio station overnight to investigate. Through surveillance, it was found that Hong Junyan’s Mercedes Benz followed a Mitsubishi station wagon in the opposite direction of going home at about three o’clock in the afternoon the day before. The police decided to use the car to find someone. But in 2004, the monitoring system was far less developed than it is now. It was not until noon that day that Hong Junyan’s Mercedes-Benz was found in the mountains of Taitung County. Other than that, the police found nothing, let alone where he was taken, dead or alive.

Hong Junyan spent half a month in the mountains like a year, chained all day like a dog, and watched when he relieved himself. From the kidnappers’conversation, he learned that his family was bargaining with the kidnappers, and the ransom had been reduced from 100 million yuan to 60 million yuan. During

this period, the kidnappers forced Hung Chun-yen to call home again, write letters to his family, and ask the Hung family to raise enough money. After that, they published in the United Daily News the “Hung Chung Card Recruiting Notice,” suggesting that the money was ready.

time arrived 21 days, Lunar New Year’s Eve.

Hong Junyan thought he could go home for the Spring Festival, but today is Lunar New Year’s Eve, or his mother’s birthday. He suddenly had an idea that he might have a chance to escape tonight! I want to save myself! The

opportunity really came.

After dark, Xiaohei and the other two kidnappers began to drink. Hong Junyan said a few good words on the grounds of the New Year, so that they could untie their hands. In order not to arouse the kidnappers’vigilance, he curled up in a corner and pretended to sleep.

After nightfall, the sound of firecrackers in the distance gradually disappeared. Hong Junyan estimated that it was already past 12 o’clock. It should be the first day of the Lunar New Year. The kidnappers had been drinking all night, and by this time they had fallen asleep on the simple bed. Hong Junyan listened to their snoring and saw an axe thrown in the corner.

He stretched out his foot and pulled the axe to his side. The key was on Blackie, too far away from him, and he couldn’t get it, so he had to take the risk of smashing it with an axe.

One, two.. Every stroke seemed to hit Hong Junyan’s heart. Continuous knocking would wake people up. He had to stop for a while to observe the kidnappers. If the kidnappers were woken up, the first day of the Chinese New Year next year would probably be the anniversary of his death.

The chain was not thick, but Hong Junyan was so frightened that his hands trembled and he smashed it about seven or eight times before breaking it. He had no time to think about it, and, ignoring the chain and lock on his ankle, he got up and staggered out of the shed. It was a quiet mountain

outside, with the occasional sound of firecrackers. Most people were gathering with their families and staying up late to watch the New Year, while he himself was like a ghost, dragging a chain in the mountains. Ten days did not wash his face and change clothes, let alone take a bath, if someone saw him at this time, perhaps he would be directly scared to death.

Half a month ago, after he was captured in the Mitsubishi car, his head was covered, and he did not know where it was. However, after getting off the bus, because there was a long mountain road to walk, the cloth bag on his head was removed, and he took the opportunity to rely on the direction of the sunset to determine the direction of the road. These days, by observing and analyzing the conversation of the kidnappers, he can also roughly know the direction of the downhill. What is

your family doing? They must not be sleeping, but not just watching the New Year, but waiting for him to come home, yes, they must be waiting for themselves to come home!

Hong Junyan, with one foot deep and one foot shallow, ran down the hill and looked back. It was dark in the mountains, and there was an occasional noise in the bushes, which startled him every time. He was afraid to turn his head and see the dark muzzle of the gun pointing at him again, but he had to turn back again and again. He felt his legs trembling, perhaps because of fear, perhaps because of physical exhaustion, but he did not care about these, climbing down the mountain! He’s just 24 years old. He can’t die for no reason. He must live!

Hong Junyan ran all the way away, not daring to stop for a moment to rest, and finally found the road under the mountain when the sky was bright. The 24-year-old, who was so tired that he almost collapsed on the ground, was suddenly injected with a shot in the arm and felt that he had been given a second life. Regardless of the danger of rolling down the hill, he rolled and crawled all the way down the hill.

Hong Junyan walked along the road while watching, he needed to ask for help, but he was afraid to meet the kidnappers. At this time, the figure of an old farmer appeared in the morning light. His skin was tanned, like the aborigines in the mountains, and he did not look like the underworld.

Hung Chun-yen took two steps and rushed up to the old farmer, shouting, “Help me, old man!”! Take me to the police station! I have kidnappers after me!

The old farmer was walking slowly when a shouting man suddenly appeared in front of him, which really startled him. When he looked at him again, he understood what had happened. He immediately helped the exhausted Hong Junyan to the village to find the police station.

Until he saw the police, Hong Junyan still couldn’t put his heart down. Kidnappers have guns in their hands, which are many times better than guns of the police. If they go out and rob people with guns, all the people here will be in danger of their lives. After the

police listened to Hong Junyan’s general story, they contacted the criminal police responsible for investigating the case and sent someone to search the mountain in the direction Hong Junyan said, looking for the traces of the kidnappers, but when they found the kidnappers’den, the kidnappers had already fled. The police in

charge of the kidnapping case arrived soon. They confirmed that the young man with unkempt hair was Hong Junyan, who was kidnapped more than half a month ago. They also brought photos of the suspect. After Hong Junyan’s identification, the leading kidnapper is the little black. The phone call to

report safety immediately reached the Hong family. Needless to say, the whole family was overjoyed, and the old grandmother worshipped and worshipped in front of the Buddha, thanking the Buddha for blessing her grandson’s safe return. Hong Junyan’s father, regardless of his physical discomfort, personally went to Taitung County with the police to pick up his youngest son.

That afternoon, under the escort of the police and a group of relatives and friends, Hong Junyan returned home.

Although the final result of the case was that the hostages escaped and the kidnappers did not get a penny, the police in Taiwan felt extremely heavy because a tough old enemy came back.

This old enemy was Chang Hsi-ming, who was later dubbed “Taiwan’s most fierce bandit.”.

Facts have proved that the police’s worries are not unnecessary, and this unsuccessful kidnapping is the beginning of a series of kidnapping cases after Zhang Ximing returned to Taiwan from the mainland.

Zhang Ximing is nicknamed “Dragon” & # x2F; “Xiaohei”

… The case of the kidnapping of

Chang Hsi-ming, nicknamed “The Dragon” and “Little Black,”

Hong Chun-yen, has been widely reported and exaggerated by the media, and has caused an uproar in the Taiwan Island. Everyone has heard of Chang Hsi-ming’s “deeds.” He has a life on his hands, and he has been in the mainland for many years. God knows how many times he has done things to escape.

Sure enough, people’s worries came true, and in the next year and a half, Zhang Ximing shocked the whole Taiwan Island.

Time: April 2

, 2004 Place: Tainan County

, Taiwan Island This afternoon, Cheng Chin-fu, who owns two pawnshops in Tainan, Kuokuang and Tachia, was kidnapped at gunpoint by Chang Hsi-ming and his accomplices on his way home. Like Hong Junyan, he was blindfolded as soon as he got into the car. A few hours later, he was taken to an abandoned warehouse in Chiayi County.

Cheng Chin-fu didn’t expect that bad luck would befall him. There are so many rich people in Tainan. Why did Chang Hsi-ming choose him? But this is not the time to lament God’s injustice. He can only hope that his family will cooperate with the kidnappers and redeem himself as soon as possible. At the same time, I also hope to have the good luck of Hong Junyan to escape.

However, he was not so lucky, and for the next two months, his life was worse than death.

Zhang Ximing asked for NT 50 million. Zheng’s family was very cooperative when they got the news, but they told Zhang Ximing that it was difficult to raise so much cash at once, so they paid 15 million in advance, and then they began to bargain and called the police. Because

Zhang Ximing had already got 15 million yuan, he had a bottom in his heart, so he went back and forth with Zheng Jinfu’s family. Another reason for his confidence was that this time he did not have to worry about the hostage escaping, because he used a cruel trick to torture the hostage so that he could not escape, or even think about it.

It turned out that Zhang Ximing had learned a lesson from the last time he was too gentle with Hong Junyan, which led to his escape. After arriving at the place of detention, they did not give Zheng Jin a chance to observe the surrounding situation. Instead, they directly covered his eyes with two pieces of cloth and buckled his ears with an earphone.

Zheng Jinfu was already afraid, but now he was even more afraid. The kidnappers blocked his ears and eyes, almost cutting off all his perception of the outside world, and just when he didn’t know what would happen next, something even more cruel happened. There was

a loud sound of music. It was a folk song in Minnan dialect, but he did not care to enjoy it because the volume was so loud that it had reached the limit that a person could bear. He felt the vibration of the sound wave go straight into his ear canal, like two sharp swords going straight into his brain.

Zheng Jinfu’s body suddenly stiffened, then fell to the ground and kept rolling, he wanted to reach out to take the headphones off, but his hands had been tied behind his back. The song in

the earphone was played over and over again, and after a long time, the torture finally stopped. Zheng Jinfu felt exhausted and lay on the ground unable to move. One of the kidnappers came over, put his hand on the right side of his Adam’s apple, felt the beating, and left at ease. From that day on, Zheng Jinfu was tortured like this for more than ten hours every day. Gradually, he forgot the time, did not know how long he had been imprisoned, and no longer thought about whether his family was trying to rescue him. Maybe one day a bullet would suddenly be fired into his head. Maybe this is the best place for him.

In this situation, no one can escape, Zheng Jinfu’s consciousness is blurred, and there is no strong reaction to the stimulation of the volume. More than two months later, the police finally found the hiding place of Zhang Ximing and his gang. When they rushed in with the cameraman, they found Zheng Jinfu lying stiffly on the concrete floor, covered with cardboard, with only a pair of feet exposed. A policeman lifted the cardboard and saw that his eyes and ears were covered. It was not until they took off their headphones that the police found out that the kidnappers had been torturing the hostages with their headphones at full volume. It’s chilling to think that this method was only used by the Nazis to torture prisoners, but now it’s used on innocent hostages, which is outrageous!

Tortured Zheng Jinfu

Tortured Zheng Jinfu

Zheng Jinfu had been tortured close to collapse by this time, and if the police arrived a few days later, the consequences would be unimaginable.

This time, as the principal offender, Zhang Ximing happened to go out and was not caught. However, Deng Yongran, who had committed crimes with him in the mainland, was arrested together with several other henchmen, and the police also seized a large number of firearms and bulletproof vests. If

Zhang Ximing is not caught, the police will not dare to relax and continue to pursue him. According to the tip, he continued to flee south after Deng Yongran and others were arrested, and took refuge with Hong Fengwen, a corner head (triad leader) whom he knew in his early years.

Date: July

2004 Location: Tainan County, Taiwan Island. In early July

2004, a boss surnamed Luo, who was engaged in sand and gravel business in Taoyuan County, was almost kidnapped. Fortunately, he managed to escape. Boss Luo, who was still in shock, immediately called the police. According to Boss Luo’s description, the police determined that this was another kidnapping case planned by Zhang Ximing. Through further questioning of Boss Luo, the police concluded that Zhang Ximing himself had no quarrel with Boss Luo, but that Boss Luo had offended local dignitaries because of his business a while ago, and that Zhang Ximing might have been entrusted to seek revenge. But since there were no serious consequences, the matter could only be settled later.

Failure means that Zhang Ximing will act again soon.

On July 10, Tainan police reported that Yang Shangshu, the son of the owner of “Hexin Passenger Transport”, was involved in a car accident while going out and was robbed of a BMW760 when he got out of the car to check. By tracking,

the police found that the kidnappers had taken Yang Shangshu to the Ali Mountain. It is Zhang Ximing’s habit to take

hostages into the mountains. Since the first hostage-taking in 1995, he and his accomplices have basically pledged people to mountain detention. The people in the mountains are not as talkative as those in the city, so it is easy to avoid people’s eyes and ears, and the mountains are his natural protective barrier, and the police can’t help him.

This time, although the police quickly found Zhang Ximing’s whereabouts, there was nothing they could do because the typhoon was coming. Heavy winds and rain led to landslides, which interrupted the process of police searching in the mountains. The police could only wait at the foot of the mountain. A few days later, two of Zhang Ximing’s henchmen went down the mountain to buy things, and they happened to be seen and filmed by the squatting police. However, considering that the hostages had not yet been rescued, the police did not carry out the arrest. This happened two more times

in the next few days. On one occasion, Zhang Ximing was only a few meters away from the police. Police officer Liu Qingyou, who was in charge of the case at that time, was driving on the side of the highway when he saw a jeep stopped not far ahead. A closer look showed that the license plate number was Zhang Ximing’s. In order not to arouse the suspicion of the people in the car, Officer Liu did not stop, but slowed down the speed and stared at the car.

I’m sure there were at least two people in that car. Although the car stopped, the door did not open, is it possible to reduce the speed to arouse the other side’s vigilance? Seeing that he was getting closer and closer to the kidnappers, Officer Liu’s brain was spinning rapidly, and he was considering whether to draw a gun and fire at the kidnappers.

But at this time they only have a pistol, the other side in the number of obvious advantages, presumably everyone has weapons, their own single firepower is insufficient. The most important thing is that the hostages have not been rescued, and their rash actions will put their lives in danger. In this way, in just a few seconds after the meeting, Officer Liu finally decided that the safety of the hostages was paramount and did not do anything. Even so, seeing the kidnappers pass by him safely, Officer Liu was still very upset.

Zhang Ximing is also a master of time management. On the one hand, he tied Yang Shangshu into the mountains, and on the other hand, he carried out other criminal activities. On July 16,

2004, two men in black, both wearing bulletproof vests and carrying automatic rifles, rushed into the Kuokuang pawnshop in Tainan. As soon as the two men entered the door, they opened fire without saying a word, and the customers in the pawnshop fled in all directions. When the bullets of the two bandits were almost finished, the bandits who followed them threw two petrol bombs into the counter, which exploded and caused a raging fire. By the time the firemen and police arrived, the two robbers had already driven away, and the property in the shop was completely burned by the fire. Fortunately, the pawnshop usually has a small flow of people, causing no casualties. The police immediately took the surveillance video to check, and found that it was Zhang Ximing who first rushed into the pawnshop, and later it was Zhang Hongji who threw the petrol bomb.

Perhaps some people find it strange that all their criminal activities are for money, but these two men rushed into the pawnshop and did not take anything, just fired a gun, set a fire, what is their purpose?

Perhaps some careful readers have already seen the clue from the name of the pawnshop: The owner of the “Kuo Kuang” pawnshop is Cheng Chin-fu, who was kidnapped by Chang Hsi-ming’s gang a few months ago. Zhang Ximing wanted 50 million ransom at that time, but his family only paid 15 million and called the police. As a result, Zhang Ximing lost Deng Yongran, an important henchman, and a large number of firearms. Zhang Ximing was very angry and could not swallow this tone, so he had the heart of revenge. Another reason for the

sabotage was that Chang Hsi-ming wanted to use this incident to put pressure on the Yang family of the “Ho Hsin Passenger Transport,” forcing them to quickly pay money to redeem themselves before they lost patience.

Shooting, arson, hostage-taking, Zhang Ximing’s rampant behavior was quickly disclosed and fermented by the media, and public opinion was in an uproar.

Yang Shangshu is the young owner of the company and the heir to the company. Even if we put aside family and human relations, his life is closely linked to the company. If something happens to him, the company will be finished. After two days of bargaining, the Yang family exchanged a ransom of NT 36 million for Yang Shangshu’s freedom.

Making a fake car accident, robbing people in public, and shooting in the hostage’s shop without getting the money, Chang Hsi-ming can be called a real fierce bandit. The ammunition in his hands is said to be able to equip an infantry squad, with long guns, short guns, flak jackets, and grenades. How could such an outlaw take the police seriously? At this time,

the Taiwan police felt that it was far from enough to invest only ordinary police force in investigating his case, and that they must actively respond to the increase in investment. As a result, the “0715 Task Force” was set up, and they had only one goal: to arrest Chang Hsi-ming. At this time,

however, the Taiwan police’s “house leak coincided with continuous rain.” Just a few months ago, there was a well-known “319 shooting incident,” in which two important political figures were shot and injured. Because of the highly sensitive issues involved in this case, the police have been in a mess, and now with Chang Hsi-ming, the Taiwan police clearly feel that the police force is insufficient. The next big thing happened, which made the Taiwanese police feel that they lacked more than just police force.

Time: July 26

, 2004 Location: Daliao

, Kaohsiung Incident: Daliao Gunfight

Just a few days after the “0715 Task Force” was set up, the members of the team grasped Chang Hsi-ming’s whereabouts through a tip. Still remember a few months ago, after Zheng Jinfu, the owner of the pawnshop, was rescued, Zhang Ximing took refuge in the man named Hong Fengwen? He provided Zhang Ximing with all kinds of living materials and arranged a place to stay. This Hong Fengwen has a younger brother named Li Jincheng, who is specially responsible for docking and running errands with Zhang Ximing. Therefore, the task force decided to track Li Jincheng.

That day, the special task force drove all the way to follow Li Jincheng until two o’clock in the morning when they arrived at an abandoned work shed in Kaohsiung. Li Jincheng seemed to be waiting for someone, and after about an hour, a van came. A man got off the bus, and sure enough, it was Zhang Ximing!

While the task force was observing, Zhang Ximing suddenly drove away.

Did Zhang Ximing find an ambush around him, or did he have something to do? What’s the next step? The task force fell into thinking, finally, they decided to continue to track Li Jincheng, because Zhang Ximing has always been suspicious, he will suspect everything around him. Perhaps Zhang Ximing’s appearance this time was just a habitual false shot, and he did not really suspect that Li Jincheng or Hong Fengwen could continue to track along this line.

Sure enough, two days later, there was movement in Daliao in Kaohsiung.

The task force followed Li Jincheng to a tin house near a village in Daliao. It was already dark at that time. They watched Li Jincheng enter the house, but it was not clear whether there was anyone else in the house. In order to find out the situation, the task force sent a police officer to venture close to the tin house, insert a high-tech pinhole camera through the cracks in the house, and take pictures of the inside of the tin house. Inside the

tin

house. Inside

the

tin house, there were five men, one of whom was definitely Zhang Ximing wearing a bulletproof vest! Several others have his henchmen. In addition, the police gasped at the contents of the house, which looked like an ammunition depot with a large number of firearms!

Zhang Ximing has always been cautious, bulletproof vest is his necessities of life, grenades are also personal belongings, when bathing, he has to take a gun in, and stay in a place for no more than two days. So the task force needs to arrest as soon as possible!

Capturing armed gangs like Chang Hsi-ming requires as much manpower as possible. Taliao is only a municipal district of Kaohsiung, and the local police force is limited. The special task force requested Kaohsiung and Pingtung police support. Within a short period of time, criminal police teams at all levels in southern Kaohsiung, as well as Taiwan’s strongest Vian special task force, responded one after another and assembled in Taliao.

Zhang Ximing’s tin house is located at the intersection of two village roads, two sides are next to the village road, and the other two sides are next to the open rice fields. The police were worried that if they surrounded the tin house on all sides, they would face their own people when shooting, and it would be easy to hurt their own people with the range of long guns. In order to avoid this situation, the police decided to surround only half of it, that is, to deploy the police force only on both sides of the road, in an “L” shape. The

detailed deployment is as follows: The first layer of the attack line is laid out in an “L” shape along the road, with a total of four police cars and 34 security agents responsible for attacking the main force; the second layer is the police special force — the Thunderbolt Team, with a total of 24 people; and the third layer is 49 criminal policemen, who are responsible for blocking the scene and controlling traffic at the outermost layer. The terrain

outside the

tin house.. After discussing the terrain

outside the

tin house, the attack time was set at two o’clock in the morning, when people are most likely to be sleepy, which is the best time to capture. When

all was quiet, people from all walks of life quietly entered the village.

If the police suddenly launched an attack at this time, Zhang Ximing would be caught off guard, but an incredible thing happened. The special police officer who led the team suddenly took a loudspeaker and began shouting: “Chang Hsi-ming, don’t move. Come out and be captured!”. There was no movement in the

tin house. “Chang Hsi-ming!” Shouted the

leading police officer! Zhang Ximing, come out quickly! You are surrounded!

Still no response.

The leading police officer shouted more than thirty times in a row, but no one came out to surrender. While the SWat officers were waiting anxiously, two black things suddenly flew out of the tin house. They were grenades! Police officers have received professional training and subconsciously rush to find shelter. But behind them was the long cement wall of a factory, and there was no time to go around the wall. The only thing that could be used as a shelter was the four ordinary police cars and the drainage ditch tens of centimeters deep under the wall. At the critical moment when two grenades flew over, the SWAT officers either hid behind the police car or jumped into the drainage ditch. The gutters and concrete walls

tin house exploded, the gunfight began, and the scene of the fierce battle between police and bandits, which can only be seen in movies, appeared in reality. The bandits had fierce firepower and showed no sign of weakness. It is no exaggeration to describe them as a hail of bullets and a dense fire net.

Suddenly, news came from the SWat team: someone was shot, someone was shot! The wounded were urgently carried to safety, but fortunately they were injured on their feet and their lives were not in danger. Several cars and concrete walls used as bunkers are full of bullet holes, and some places are even punctured, which shows how powerful the weapons of Zhang Ximing and others are. More than

half an hour later, the gunfire gradually subsided, but the offensive and defensive sides remained where they were, and the leading police officer began to shout again: “Chang Hsi-ming!”! Come out!..

No one responded, and more than twenty minutes later there was another fierce battle. More than hour

after the start of the war, the police were about to run out of bullets and urgently called the surrounding police stations to deliver bullets for rescue.

Why did the police work so hard, but still could not capture the tin house defended by only five people? The main reason is that in this gun battle, the weapons and equipment of the police are obviously at a disadvantage!

In addition to the frequently used AK47 and M16, Zhang Ximing also has M733 short-barreled assault rifles, M4A1 assault rifles equipped with infrared sights and snipers, Walter P99 pistols, Glock 23 pistols, M26 grenades and so on. Many of these are professional equipment of the US military.

Secondly, the police do not have favorable terrain. Although the SWat officers were professionally trained, they did not have any decent cover when facing the strong firepower of the bandits, while the bandits were on the contrary. The tin house they were in was actually a brick house, and the bullets went into the wall bricks, and the people inside would not be hurt at all.

The car is riddled with bullet

holes..

The car was riddled with bullet

holes, and the two sides were deadlocked. Near five o’clock in the morning, the eastern horizon was white with fish belly, and the gunfire subsided again.

At this time, several police officers found that there were several figures behind the tin house, and when they looked carefully, they saw each other wearing the same bulletproof vest as themselves, thinking that they were colleagues. Just as they were about to turn around and walk back, the three figures suddenly fired at themselves, and the officers quickly lay down to escape and shoot at each other. When I looked up again after a while, the figures had long disappeared.

The policemen ran after the rice field behind the tin house.

By the time they reached the side of the road through the rice fields, it was already light, and the police finally saw it. Those people dressed like policemen turned out to be Zhang Ximing and others! But at this time three people became two people, Zhang Ximing and accomplice Chen Jinxiong each armed with a submachine gun, is holding a passing old farmer, standing on the side of the highway trying to carjack. Where’s the other escaped bandit? We’ll talk about it later.

A reporter who was filming at the scene did not know the situation and drove over in a muddle. The policemen who were responsible for blocking the traffic on the roadside shouted to him desperately. The reporter realized that the bandit was in front of him and was waiting for him to be a hostage. He quickly turned the steering wheel and fled in the direction he had come.

But a young man driving a Toyota was not so lucky. When he drove past Zhang Ximing, the gun was pointed at him and he shouted for him to stop the car in the middle of the road. Zhang and Chen grabbed the old farmer, and as they walked toward the car, they shouted at the police who were chasing them: “Don’t push me!”! Don’t push me!

Taking hostages

on the side of the road.. The

two hostage-takers

went to the left side of the car, quickly opened the door and drove the young man into the back seat. Then Zhang Ximing entered the cab. Before entering the back seat, Chen Jinxiong realized that it was enough to take a hostage. He lifted his arm and the old farmer escaped safely. When interviewed by the media at the scene

afterwards, the old farmer said in Taiwanese, “I thought he was a policeman, or I would have knocked him down!”

The old farmer was interviewed

The old farmer was interviewed

at the scene, and the Toyota sped away with two bandits and a hostage. As soon as Chen Jinxiong got on the bus, he covered the hostage’s head. More than two hours later, the hostage was pushed out of the bus. More than ten minutes later, after the hostages were sure that the bandits had disappeared, they dared to remove the shelter from their heads, and only then did they realize that they had been taken into the mountains.

While Zhang and Chen were driving away, the police outside the tin house were still confronting the remaining two bandits. More than hour later, the police decided to break the deadlock. They adopted the strategy of controlling the enemy from a high place, brought in a high-pressure sprinkler car, rose to a high place, surrounded by sandbags, and fired into the tin house from a commanding position. In order to break into the door of the tin house, the special police drove the high-pressure sprinkler back to hit the door, and finally forced in. Of the two bandits inside, one was wounded and the other surrendered.

This time, the police gained quite a lot, in addition to seizing a batch of arms and firearms, a high-powered Mitsubishi jeep, and more than 6 million yuan of stolen money that had not been divided in time.

Zhang Ximing’s jeep

.. The stolen money

from

Zhang Ximing’s jeep

was not divided up. In

addition to Chang Hsi-ming and Chen Chin-hsiung, there was another one named Chang Hung-chi, who was involved in the “Kuokuang Pawnshop” shooting and setting fire. However, he chose another way to escape alone while crossing the rice fields, which did not attract the attention of the police. After the news of the failure of the

police round-up came out, public opinion on the island was in an uproar, and the media were talking about it one after another. Hundreds of policemen besieged five bandits, but three of them ran away! What is this if not a wimp? The hearts of the police officers are full of frustration, but things have happened, and we can only sum up the lessons and strive for a good victory next time.

In fact, when the stolen goods were seized at the scene, people had already seen that the equipment of the bandits was several orders of magnitude higher than that of the police. If the police did not upgrade as soon as possible, they would probably be beaten passively next time. Another

reason is the improper formulation of tactics. The “L” formation left a lot of room for the other side to escape, and it was like “making an exception.” But Hou You-yi, the head of the criminal investigation Bureau at the time, explained it this way: “The lives of the police officers are more important than anything else. A criminal can run away for a while, but he can’t run away forever. I can definitely catch him.” Hou Youyi, director of the

Criminal Bureau

.. When the

Taiwan police were preparing for the next step, they received a personal letter from Chang Hsi-ming! In the letter, he said that he greatly admired Hou Youyi, director of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, for being able to find the tin house in Daliao. The owner of the house was Hong Fengwen, who had known him for 12 years and trusted him very much. The implication was that he suspected that Hong Fengwen had betrayed him. After a fingerprint comparison, the letter was indeed written by Chang Hsi-ming, and the postmark came from the Shuishang Rural Township Post Office in Chiayi County.

The police immediately concentrated their efforts in the mountainous areas of Tainan and Chiayi counties and began to search the mountains on a large scale. At this time, a new force was added to the special task force: the garrison of the Criminal Investigation Bureau led by police officer Tang Jiaren.

But there was still no news of Zhang Ximing, as if he had disappeared from the world.

Since the last escape, Zhang Ximing has been cut off from everyone. In the past, he used a beeper to communicate with his accomplices. Each gang member had a code table, and everyone translated the meaning according to the code received, but he never used it again after the Daliao gunfight.

stolen money did not get, accomplices left him, Zhang Ximing returned to the mountains alone. A person’s target is small, and he is very familiar with the mountains, no matter how the police search the mountains, he can find a place to escape. On one occasion, the police had found the shed where he lived, which had beds, pots and bowls, and even a refrigerator, which showed that he had lived here for a long time. The shed

where

Chang Hsi-ming is staying..

Why is Chang hsi-ming so “aggressive,” with the survival skills and anti-reconnaissance capabilities of the remote mountains? It all started with his childhood.

Chang Hsi-ming was born in 1968 in Tungshan Rural Township in Tainan County. Because he grew up black and thin, he was given the nickname “Little Black” by his classmates very early.

Childhood Zhang Ximing

.

As a child, Zhang Ximing

‘s parents were farmers, but they could not earn much money, so they could only occasionally work as formwork workers on construction sites to support their families, that is, to do some odd jobs such as plastering cement. Chang Hsi-ming,

whose family was poor, saw that his hard-working parents could only keep the family fed and clothed, so he felt that studying hard and working honestly were not very promising. On the contrary, as soon as he went out, he was surrounded by people who were involved in the underworld. He was very popular, and at a young age he had the idea of becoming a big boss of the underworld. Therefore, although he was very smart when he was young, the influence of his surroundings made him less and less fond of school, and he often fought and made trouble. He dropped out of school in the second grade of junior high school, that is, the second grade of junior high school. After

dropping out of school, he immediately became a younger brother with a local gangster, a Taiwanese slang for the leader of a small underworld gang. Zhang Ximing follows that corner all day in the casino, collects protection money everywhere, and fights with people almost every day. Later, he followed Jiao Tou to Taipei to look for opportunities to develop, but because he was black and thin, he was always called a mountain man, and suffered a lot of bullying, so he had to return to his hometown in Dongshan Township and work as a formwork worker with his father for two years. At the age of

18, Zhang Ximing was conscripted for military service. In the barracks, he received training in shooting, field operations, and so on. His body was much stronger than before, and he was no longer the little black who was bullied in those days. But he seemed to like this nickname very much. Later, when he announced himself in Jianghu, he called himself little black. On the contrary, he did not care much about the nickname “dragon.”. After

retiring from the army, Zhang Ximing returned to Dongshan Township and opened a clothing store with the support of his family and friends. He married Tong Yuru, the younger sister of the store, and soon had a daughter. But Zhang Ximing had no intention of living a stable life. After a year of operation, the clothing store closed down. He returned to the casino and continued his career of fighting and extorting protection money. Just then

, a person who had an important influence on him in the future appeared in front of him. This person was Zhan Longlan, a villain nicknamed “pangolin.”.

“Pangolin” Zhan Longlan

“Pangolin” Zhan Longlan Why

is Zhan Longlan called “pangolin”?

Because Zhan Longlan is a recidivist and specializes in major crimes. He is familiar with the mountain terrain, and every time he commits a crime, he hides in the mountains to avoid the limelight. No one knows how to survive in the mountains better than him, just like a pangolin who is not afraid of attack. The southern part of

Taiwan Island has a tropical monsoon climate, with warm winters and hot summers. There is no shortage of food in the mountains all the year round, and people with a little field survival skills can easily find it. Every time Zhan Longlan enters the mountains, the only necessities he carries with him are garlic and salt. Salt can season, and garlic can disinfect and sterilize. In this way, the problem of eating is solved.

As for accommodation, it is not a problem. Hiding in the mountains all the year round, Zhan Longlan has already built many hidden shelters, which ordinary people can’t find at all.

But the best thing is his skill at getting away. The way he escaped is still fresh in the memory of the police who have dealt with

him. Sometimes in the course of the chase, the police found that there was a steep slope ahead and a ravine several stories high below, but Zhan Longlan dared to jump down, and as soon as his feet touched the ground, he immediately hugged his body and rolled down the hillside.

He also has a tough move.

Zhan Longlan often carries a particularly large raincoat with him. There is no need to explain in detail the role of the raincoat in the mountains. In addition to windproof and rainproof, it can also be moisture-proof on the ground. However, Zhan Longlan’s large raincoat can be used as a parachute. Several times when the police chased him to the edge of the cliff, Zhan Longlan opened his big raincoat, grabbed a few corners with both hands, took a ride, and dared to jump off the cliff, thus leaving the police behind.

However, these cliffs are usually not too high, at most ten meters, if placed in the mountains like Zhangjiajie, the real pangolin would fall to pieces.

In a word, Zhan Longlan has always been a worry for the Taiwan police until he was captured by the mainland police in 2003. Since

Zhang Ximing kept up with Zhan Longlan, his outlook on life has been completely distorted. He feels that Zhan Longlan is simply a legendary figure, or his own life example, which strengthens his determination to be the boss of the underworld. In February

1995, Chang Hsi-ming and several friends went to drink at the Oriental KTV Hotel in Hsinying City, Tainan County.Because they did not like Lin Ching-yi, the owner of the hotel, they deliberately found fault with him and shot him after a quarrel. From this day on, Zhang Ximing lived a life of switching back and forth between crime and escape.

A month later, Chang Hsi-ming shot and killed Hsu Chin-te, an arms dealer in Tainan, in an arms deal. Rumor has it that Xu Jinde and Zhan Longlan once had enmity, and Zhang Ximing wanted to vent his anger on his master, but this statement has not been confirmed by the parties concerned. In any case, Zhang Ximing was the biggest beneficiary of the incident, and he seized all the arms.

Looking at the large number of automatic rifles, grenades, bullets, and body armor in his hands, Chang Hsi-ming felt that his back had stiffened and that the days of being bullied were gone forever.

He decided to do great things.

In just one month, Zhang Ximing easily killed two people with weapons.

With two lives behind him, Zhang Ximing began to reflect. He didn’t want his hands to be stained with blood. What he wanted was money and prestige, not to be chased by a group of ghosts. With a weapon in

your hand, how can you take a “shortcut”?

He thought of kidnapping!

In the nineties of the last century, there were many shocking kidnappings in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Representative examples include:

In 1990, Wang Dehui, chairman of Chinachem Group, was kidnapped by bandits Chen Linyuan and others, demanding a ransom of $60 million. Although his wife Wang Ruxin paid $30 million in advance, Wang Dehui was still thrown into the sea.

In 1996, Cheung Tze-keung, the “King of Thieves of the Century,” ganged up with Yip Chi-wan to kidnap Victor Li, the eldest son of Li Ka-shing, the richest man in Hong Kong, and demanded a ransom of HK $1,038 million, setting the world’s highest ransom record.

In 1997, the daughter of Taiwanese actress Pai Ping-ping was kidnapped and killed by a gang of habitual criminals, Chen Chin-hsing. Because the crime process was too anti-human, it attracted the attention of the world, and even today when it is mentioned, it can still cause people’s extreme discomfort.

Therefore, it is no exaggeration to call those years the “era of kidnapping in Hong Kong and Taiwan,” and Chang Hsi-ming has just caught up with this era.

Through various comparisons and analyses, Zhang Ximing found that kidnapping is the fastest and the lowest risk. Kidnappers usually only have to deal with one or two well-fed people who are unarmed and powerless, which is much less risky than drug trafficking and bank robbery. And the rich, in the face of a gang of gangsters with guns, no matter how much money they spend, they will save their lives. Even if the hostages escape, the kidnappers can get away with it without any loss. Besides, with so many weapons in hand, wouldn’t it be a waste not to do something big? In June

1995, Chang Hsi-ming joined hands with “pangolin” Chan Lung-lan to kidnap Atayal Resort Chairman Chen Ming-chien and his assistant Li Ming-juan, and demanded a high ransom of NT 200 million. After Chen Minggan’s family paid 2 million yuan, they proposed that if Chen Minggan did not come forward in person, they would not be able to collect 200 million yuan, so Zhang Ximing agreed to let Chen Minggan go back to collect money first, leaving Li Mingjuan as a hostage. But before the money arrived, the police arrived and Li Mingjuan was rescued. Two henchmen guarding the hostages were arrested, but all the other main criminals fled. Among them, Zhan Longlan left Taiwan directly and fled to the mainland.

At this time, Zhang Ximing occasionally went home to visit his family, and he already had two daughters. During the Mid-Autumn Festival in 1998, the Taiwan police learned that Zhang Ximing’s wife, Tong Yuru, had given birth to another son. He wanted to go home to visit his son, so he sent someone to ambush nearby. Sure enough, the police met Zhang Ximing and his accomplice Li Zhengzhou in the mountainous area of Lin’an Village, Dongshan Township. As soon as

Zhang and Li saw someone approaching, they immediately pulled out their guns and shot. Two police officers were shot and injured. Li Zhengzhou was shot in the leg and fell to the ground. As soon as Chang Hsi-ming saw that something was wrong, he could not go home. He immediately fled into the mountains and disappeared. When Li Zhengzhou saw that he could not escape, he shot himself. Unable

to return home, Chang Hsi-ming is now wanted by Zhang Bang and has decided to leave Taiwan to avoid the limelight. He and Lin Chen-hsing, an accomplice in the kidnapping case, together with another Taiwanese gangster, Teng Yung-ran, fled to the mainland. They met with Chan Lung-lan, who had already fled to the mainland, and engaged in drug trafficking activities in the Yunnan area.

This departure lasted for six years. On April 2,

2003, after a long pursuit, Zhan Longlan, a pangolin, was finally captured by the public security organs in the mainland and repatriated to Taiwan. Seeing his master arrested, Zhang Ximing felt that he had lost his backbone in the mainland, and he had always felt that the risk of drug trafficking was too great, so he smuggled back to Taiwan at the end of 2003.

As soon as he returned to Taiwan, he kidnapped a wealthy businessman surnamed Feng and extorted 30 million yuan, but only got 2.5 million yuan in the end. Zhang Ximing felt dissatisfied and kidnapped Hong Junyan on January 7, 2004, which is the case we talked about at the beginning.

City In a flash, in February 2005, the special task force received information that Tainan County Magistrate Wu Chien-pao and County Councilor Li Chuan-fu had been kidnapped by Chang Hsi-ming’s gang. After paying a ransom of NT 30 million, he returned home safely. But when the task force questioned the two men, they denied that it had happened. Later, the task force learned that Li Quanfu had an interest dispute with others and owed a huge debt because he contracted the project. Zhang Ximing was called to collect the debt and got 8 million yuan afterwards. However, the mastermind behind the incident has never been found out.

A month later, video game tycoon Yu Guozhu became the fish on Zhang Ximing’s chopping board. Yu Guozhu started by operating online gambling, and his net worth has exceeded 100 billion yuan. In his heyday, his daily income could reach 400 million yuan. How can such a big piece of fat be easily let go? Although he kept a low profile, he still brought disaster.

Video game tycoon Yu Guozhu

Video game tycoon Yu Guozhu

One day in March, Yu Guozhu arrived at Kaohsiung’s Xiaogang Airport by plane, preparing to go to Kaohsiung City for business. Zhang Ximing and his gang followed him and used the old method of faking a car accident to stop his car. While the driver was arguing with the kidnappers, the other two kidnappers, carrying AK47s, forced Yu Guozhu to get out of the car. As

before, Yu Guozhu was taken into the mountains and imprisoned. This time, the ransom demanded by Zhang Ximing set a new record for Taiwan Island, reaching NT 4 billion yuan.

But Yu Guozhu’s family did not want to rely entirely on the police. In order to ensure Yu Guozhu’s safety, they first paid the kidnappers 300 million yuan in installments.

Yu Guozhu was also fortunate in his misfortune. On the 18th day after he was tied up in the mountains, he took advantage of the time when the kidnappers left for dinner to open the handcuffs with wire and escape from the foothold. He was afraid that the kidnappers would catch up with him when they found out, so he did not dare to take the already formed path, but went down to the jungle valley and swam down the stream. More than four hours later, he finally found a home and called the police. When

the task force learned that Yu Guozhu had successfully escaped from danger, they immediately sent people into the mountains to search for Zhang Ximing. However, Zhang Ximing escaped again, and his accomplice Li Zaigan was caught.

In order to prevent Zhang Ximing from committing another crime, the special task force decided to offer a reward of NT 10 million for the arrest of Zhang Ximing.

At the same time, the task force did not let go of any clues. An accomplice who was arrested once said that Chang Hsi-ming planned to go to the Matsu Temple in Hsinying, Tainan, to worship on Matsu’s birthday. In the past, he always said that he had been safe in Jianghu for so many years because of Matsu’s blessing. He also donated 50,000 yuan of sesame oil money. Seeing that Mazu’s birthday was coming, the special task force decided to send police to squat around the Mazu Temple.

The police found a container house selling betel nuts in a perfect location outside the Mazu Temple, borrowed it from the owner, and monitored the pilgrims every day. However, the weather was already very hot in late April Taiwan Island, but the air conditioner in the container house broke down on the first day they came, and the well-equipped policemen suffered a lot inside. After a week of squatting, Zhang Ximing never appeared, and the operation could only be terminated.

, Taichung Incident: The decisive battle

Next, the police tried every means to find the whereabouts of Chang Hsi-ming. They even thought about a man’s physical needs, so they began to collect clues in this respect. Not long after, they learned that Chang Hsi-ming often went to a certain “health club for men and women” to receive services, so they went to check it out. Practitioners there admitted that Zhang Ximing sometimes came to visit and carried two short guns with him, but refused to cooperate for fear of retaliation. All the information that

could be used was used, but no one could be found, so the people of the task force had to start using the old method to find people.

On the other hand, the task force’s interrogation of Li Zaigan, the criminal in the Guozhu kidnapping case, is still in progress. On June 16, Li Zaigan hanged himself in his cell, feeling that he had no hope of getting out of prison and could not face the long sentence. He left three suicide notes, two for his family and one for the police.

In his suicide note, he disclosed many details about Zhang Ximing to the police, one of which attracted the attention of the task force. Recently, Zhang Ximing and his partner, Dumb, often play an online game, “Paradise.” His online name is “Alone.” He has become obsessed with this game. In order to reach the high level as soon as possible, he even paid someone to help him upgrade. At the same time, he also keeps in touch with his accomplices through the game’s in-station contact method. Seeing the hope, the

task force immediately went to the game company and collected all the information about “coming and going alone.” Now they have a new method: using the game to find people. One day in

July, the “loner” IP showed that he was online at the Duolv Villa on Wufeng Mountain in Taichung. The special police force quickly assembled near Wufeng Mountain and planned to carry out the arrest in the early morning of the next day. At six o’clock in the

evening, Tang Jiaren, the police officer who led the team, suddenly felt a little perturbed, perhaps because of the previous failures. What if I miss again?

He changed into shorts and slippers and dressed up as an ordinary resident to stroll around Duolv Villa. Seeing the lights on in the target room and the air conditioner on, I was a little relieved. But wait until more than 8 o’clock in the evening, suddenly came a bad news: Zhang Ximing suddenly offline.

In front of Tang Jiaren is a dilemma. If we give up, all the preparations we have made these days will be in vain, and we don’t know when the next opportunity will come again. If we act rashly and Chang Hsi-ming is not here, he will certainly get the news, and then it will be even more difficult to find him. After

weighing again and again, the task force decided to cancel the operation.

Later, I learned that Zhang Ximing’s younger brother was quarreling with his girlfriend that night, which made Zhang Ximing feel uncomfortable and knocked the computer to the ground and left.

However, there is another explanation for the failure of this operation. After

Zhang Ximing entered the villa, the police sent two aircrew helicopters to observe and disturb Zhang Ximing. He left Duolv Villa immediately.

As the saying goes, “One time you go all out, another time you go down, and three times you go out.” The repeated unsuccessful arrests have made everyone more and more frustrated, but as long as Chang Hsi-ming is not caught, the Taiwan police will not be able to rest assured.

Good luck finally came. A few days later, the task force received new information. A station wagon driven by one of Chang Hsi-ming’s accomplices appeared in Shalu, Taichung County, and entered a supermarket. Rumor

has it that this is due to high-tech chips. At that time, because Zhang Ximing’s whereabouts could not be grasped, the Criminal Investigation Bureau proposed this secret plan. A satellite positioning tracker equipped with chips was secretly hidden in Zhang Ximing’s personal belongings through informants. The police could observe his every move through this tracker. However, due to the lack of insiders and the consideration of confidentiality, the chip has not been confirmed.

The task force rushed to the supermarket and found that the owner of the station wagon asked the supermarket to deliver the goods and left the address. According to the address, the task force found a three-storey townhouse on Zhongxing Road, and the target was the second building from the right. Then go to the property to check, this house is rented by Zhang Ximing’s younger brother. The place

of the

decisive battle..

Tang Jiaren pretended to buy a house and went into a nearby building to check the internal structure in order to make a plan for the arrest. Originally, the house here was built on the hillside, with a total of three floors. From the front door on the side of the road, upstairs is the bedroom, underground is the living room and kitchen, from the back door of the living room is a downhill, below is a small bamboo forest, outside the bamboo forest is the wall.

Tang Jiaren believes that this is definitely a carefully selected house. The gate facing the street has been changed into a garage shutter door, so the car can drive in directly and run out directly when needed, and the highway is 100 meters away. If the front is blocked, the bandits can escape from the back, enter the bamboo forest for easy concealment, climb over the wall from a commanding position, and the people outside the wall will be very passive.

It seems that we must hold the front and back in order to be absolutely safe. But the first thing to be sure is that Zhang Ximing is really here.

That night, the game accounts of Zhang Ximing and his partner Dumb were launched here again, and it was confirmed that they were inside. The task force judged that they would play all night, and the people who played all night games would be very tired the next morning, so they decided to wait until they got off the line the next morning and start attacking.

Reporters interviewed the scene to deploy offensive lines

.

The reporter interviewed the scene and deployed the attack line

overnight.

Zhang Ximing and his accomplices did not get off the line until 8 o’clock the next morning. As soon as they got off the line, the police attack began.

This time, the main force of the attack is the Taiwan Vian Special Service, which has been upgraded with equipment and an armored vehicle. The first to attack was the armored car of the police, which crashed into the shutter door of the garage. However, because the height of the armored car exceeded the door beam, it could not continue to open after the door was loosened. The shutter door swung inward and returned to its original position, leaving only a gap more than ten centimeters wide.

Armored vehicle breaks in

.. Police officer Huang Shifu, who was in

charge of the charge, broke open the shutter door with his bare hands, and another colleague began to smash the door with an axe. After pushing the door open, the secret service members first fired into it and then filed in. The first thing they did when they entered the house was to throw a shock bomb downstairs. The strong flash and loud sound made it impossible for Zhang Ximing and Dumb downstairs to resist. Dumb was shot in the face and fell to the corner of the stairs to surrender to the secret service. Zhang Ximing ran to the bamboo forest in the backyard with two automatic rifles. Tang Jiaren, who was in charge of the interception in the

back, got the news at this time, and he and his men waited outside the wall together. First, a gun was seen sticking out of the top of the wall for a while, then thrown out of the wall, and then a man in his underwear climbed up the top of the wall, and the police under the wall fired their guns.

The man was shot and fell from the top of the wall to the ground. But he didn’t want to die. He shouted, “I’m Chang Hsi-ming. I’m dying. Come and help me!”

Zhang Ximing was shot several

times.

Zhang Ximing was shot several

times, and the police came forward to check, and the person who was shot was indeed Zhang Ximing! While rescuing him, officer Tang Jiaren found blood oozing from his neck. The doctor later said it was only a minor cut, but if it had been fired a little more, the bullet would have entered the trachea, and he would not be alive now.

Zhang Ximing finally fell into the net. He was shot eight times in the chest and back in the firefight. His hands were broken. After rescue, he was out of danger and accepted the trial. On June 30,

2006, Zhang Ximing was sentenced to three life imprisonment in Tainan Prison. Zhang Ximing in

prison is completely different from what prisoners imagine. He never bullies people, does not like to talk, pastes paper bags in factories without help from others, and will take the initiative to help the elderly after finishing his work.

He also picked up his junior high school textbooks and began to study, taking several exams. Studying

Recalling the past, he would regret kidnapping the old farmer and write a letter of apology to the old farmer.

Seeing this, some people may ask, is the purpose of Zhang Ximing doing these things just for money? What happened to all that ransom money he got?

Through interrogation, the task force learned that Zhang Ximing was hired to kidnap most of the time. Lin Zhenxing, who once fled to the mainland with him, is the contact window between the kidnapping group and him. After getting the ransom, Zhang Ximing will get the corresponding share. Sometimes after the hostages are tied up, Zhang Ximing is only responsible for guarding the hostages. Contact with family members, ransom demands, bargaining and other things are done by kidnapping groups.

In the kidnapping case of pawnshop owner Cheng Chin-fu, a ransom of 15 million yuan flowed into the name of Chen Ming-tsung, a gangster in central Taiwan, and the money was lost by Chen Ming-tsung in a casino within a few days. It’s hard to say whether it’s really bad luck or taking the opportunity to launder money. In short, the instigator behind the scenes has not been found out until today. Therefore, Zhang Ximing’s gang is not a simple kidnapping and extortion organization, and there are more powerful forces behind his scenes.

It is speculated that these behind-the-scenes bigwigs include gang leaders, important officials from both political and business circles, and possibly the police. With the tips from insiders, Zhang Ximing was able to successfully escape the arrest of the police many times. But later Zhang Ximing became more and more insolent and became the most wanted criminal known to everyone in the Taiwan Island. These behind-the-scenes big brothers felt that they would get burned sooner or later if they went on like this. They should draw a clear line with him as soon as possible and wish he could be shot to death.
