The truth is not so. As a matter of fact, Wang Chieh’s regular practice in collecting donations is that after each visit to a village, he will find the most dilapidated house in the area as the background, and then call the children nearby to take a touching group photo in front of the house. When taking a group photo, you must show the logo of “Baise Student Aid Network”. Subsequently, when the photos are uploaded and the students’information is entered, it becomes a donation information!

Originally, Qiu Chu had already done the ideological work of several girls, but they changed their words after witnessing Xiaomei’s experience. Many victims are connected to each other. So, is it really inevitable that the girl will come forward to testify about what happened to her?
Qiu Chu doesn’t think so. In fact, some secondary injuries can be completely avoided.
For example, when a girl is recorded, she should be questioned by a policewoman, rather than leaving the girl and the male policeman alone in a space. When making a record, we should finish the record at one time, instead of disturbing the victim repeatedly. In addition, even if we need to go to the victim’s home to investigate, we should also take into account the privacy of the child, while obtaining information, to maximize the protection of the child’s privacy. Even if the investigation inevitably exposes some things, parents should do a good job of ideological work before the investigation, so as to avoid bringing secondary harm to their children.. These tasks should also be an indispensable part of the investigation of the case.
But unfortunately, in this case, the secondary injury is repeated. Only three girls finally came forward to testify against Wang Jie. Under the chain reaction, it directly affected Wang Jie’s sentencing results.
Before the trial of the case, a lawyer detailed the “three sins” that Wang Jie was suspected of:
First, Wang Jie used the “Baise Student Aid Network” as a fund-raising platform to forge the information of poor students, and the grants raised were not all distributed to poor students, but for the purpose of illegal possession, he used the method of fabricating facts or concealing the truth. However, in order to establish these charges, besides the need for police investigation and evidence collection, the victim’s testimony is also a key factor. The crime of
rape belongs to the consequential offense, that is, the implementation of this act constitutes a crime. Raping a large number of people and raping young girls is an aggravated crime, which should be punished on the basis of statutory punishment according to law. However, if there is only his own confession and sexual assault video, and no party comes out to testify, it will bring difficulties to the investigation of the case, and will also have an impact on sentencing.
Sure enough, after a long supplementary investigation and trial, on October 13, 2016, the People’s Court of Longlin Autonomous County, Baise City, Guangxi, publicly sentenced Wang Jie, the former head of Baise Student Assistance Network, to 15 years’imprisonment for rape, and sentenced Wang Jie, the defendant, to 15 years’ imprisonment for rape. September, a child sent a QQ message to Qiu Chu because he could not pay the tuition fee, saying, “Actually, you are not a good person. You just want to be famous.”

Finally, after many negotiations, Qiuchu promoted the media, Guangzhou Youth Development Foundation and Tianxiang Care Service Center in Tianhe District of Guangzhou to jointly launch a public welfare fund-raising project for poor students in Baise.
Eventually, the project raised a total of 916700 yuan. In order to avoid the misappropriation of donations, the follow-up donations were directly distributed to the students and managed by the head teachers of the students.
