It’s 10:30 in the morning, and you’re going to get up and study at 8:00 yesterday, and you’re lying on your bed and you’re just looking at this, and you’re looking at it with the idea of “I’m still saving,” and you’re looking at it, and you’re looking at it, and you’re looking at it, and you’re looking at it, and you’re looking at it, and you’re looking at it.
How can you save yourself when you’re too self-restraint? Is it a habit for them to keep track of the plan? Did you use an alarm clock to force them to wake up and learn?
Seriously, if one can do it for a long time, it’s not so bad.
I’ll share with you a single secret of my early rise before I start with the dry stuff below:
The alarm clock rings, no matter how sleepy it is, grab the phone and start playing, swipe the joker, watch the sand sculpture, play ten minutes until it’s up, and then get up.
I couldn’t help it. I wanted to get up early, and only the devil could beat the devil first.
That’s what I grew up in the early days of self-regulation — the limit to one, to defeat the devil with the devil.
And later on, I just have to try to change my book habits to my cell phone habits. It’s easier to get up early than to get up. I can’t, I can’t play a 10-minute cell phone. Better than two more hours.
That’s what I’m trying to tell you. Real self-control kernel:
Only when the power to do one thing is greater than the resistance does the act happen and eventually becomes your control.
One.
In the Triangular, singers used the term “two-way twilight” to take down the whole solar system, making it two-dimensional from a three-dimensional space, turning all of us into people on the ground, with no survivors. There were only two successful escapes from the solar system on the Superlight Speeder.
Why would a super-light speeder take them out of 2D? Because they go beyond the flight speed of the solar system — the speed of light.
Because it is only when the power is greater than the resistance, i.e. when the flight speed of the aircraft is greater than the flight speed of the solar system, that the flight will be successful, without which it will be impossible to avoid being reduced from three to two dimensions.
The truth of the universe is so, as is the nature of humanity.
Resist > power, and then people are endlessly procrastination.
Resistance < power, when people are full of action and self-discipline.
In fact, the essence of many habits is simple, and although I can draw the same term as you for “rationally driven” “brain shortsighted” “must limit”, I prefer to tell you the truth about self-control from the very essence, the most modest logic.
It’s that simple to find a way to get you to do more than resist.
Two.
There’s always something that counts on you learning a few methodological theories, downloading a few APPs, and it’s becoming self-regulating, my friend, and it’s not really realistic.
Because the vast majority of human beings are not disciplined enough, otherwise we would have colonized the galaxy.
That’s the nature of the brain, which always works to avoid harm, and to be lazy and lazy. What the brain thinks every day is how to maximize the benefits with the least consumption.
In this childish brain, we can’t think of tame, but of seduction.
Start with the power-resistance model, with a very small, non-threshold behavior that allows you to extract pleasure from your actions, and then, through that pleasure, drive yourself from the inside, to continue to like it, to practice it, to internalize it.
You know, if a way of growing up depends on self-control, it’s actually of limited value. – It doesn’t work except to make you feel “ah, it’s amazing” in the early part, and “suck, it’s painful” in the latter part.
The cognition is over, and I’m going to share with you some practical self-control methods, which, you know, don’t really have to do with will.
02
Since self-control is essentially power — resistance — it has to be analysed, what resistance is causing you pain in your habits? What power is driving you?
My summary reveals that resistance can be broadly divided into the following four categories:
Inadequate self-confidence
2. Low accessibility
3. Inducing distractions
4. Lack of immediate feedback
First of all, there is a lack of confidence.
There are many reasons for the lack of confidence, but the most basic one is that you’re a little overestimating yourself.
Many people like to give themselves a big flag, for example, to learn a foreign language this semester, and to play guitar and photography for three months, but in fact this flag alone, most people don’t have the confidence to do it themselves.
So the goal became a resistance in your heart, a flag that couldn’t do it on its own but often wandered in front of your eyes, and you didn’t want to try, you just wanted to escape.
While such a vision is right, it cannot be based on feelings that ignore the level of capacity and resources available to it.
A person ‘ s level of self-confidence is positively related to his core competencies, the essence behind a lack of confidence, the mismatch between existing objectives and capabilities, and the lack of awareness of his abilities.
So, two ways:
1. Focus on core competencies
I often get messages saying, “How can I become self-confident, Chai-san?” I’m sorry.
I’ll tell him, “Leave your mind and improve your abilities. You’ll be confident as soon as you can.” I’m sorry.
Dismantling key words in their existing fields, then purchasing books, paying for knowledge and upgrading their core competencies.
2. Redefining objectives
Honey, don’t ask too much of yourself, as a person who has never volunteered to study, it’s great to have 30 words a day, and there’s no need to master a foreign language for a semester.
Only this semester with 30 words a day will you learn to speak a foreign language.
By the same token, it’s easy to hit a face with a “no weight, no face.” I’ve hardly seen anyone who actually ended up losing weight because of a change of looks.
To measure themselves, to separate them and to think about the possibilities of overcoming them. This is the first solution to resistance.
And then the second, low-accessibility.
When I was in college, I had two gym cards. The first was a downtown gym, half an hour from my school, and the second was an old gym that broke across from my school.
I was like most people when I had my first gym card — twice without going, with a lot of delays, trying to black out the gym coach.
But when I did the second one, I suddenly went to work and I went two or three times a week, with little resistance.
The facilities and circumstances of the first gym are, by definition, much better than those of the second old gym.
Because the second gym has the advantage of “accessible” — “more accessible and achievable” than the first one. I don’t need a backpack, I don’t need a car, I don’t need a bus, I don’t need to waste more than an hour of time, so I can go to the gym.
Easy means easy to get, easy to see, easy to get close. So if you have never tried a field or a habit, you start from where it is easy.
I started with the early start of the operation by replacing the easy-to-get “right-to-earth” with the easy-to-get “first-to-first-phone” approach.
It has been said that the near-water towers are made up of months, and people cannot target themselves too far from the current state of life.
It is the second solution of resistance to create the most accessible environment and conditions possible.
Number three, seducing distraction.
You don’t have to explain that, do you? When working, please put away your mobile phones and electronic devices.
Fourth, lack of immediate feedback
There’s a “reward circuit” in the brain, and if we get a little bit of it right away, then the brain is addicted to it through dopamine, and it’s constantly encouraging us to do more of this, like today’s king’s honor?
The brain is like a child and wants him to do one thing on a continuous basis, and only by putting a little candy on it and giving it some positive feedback can it go on the way to a habit.
I’ll take out a paper every day, one on my material desire (e.g., buy a favorite dress, eat a cheese pan, etc.) and the other on my little goal for myself (e.g., go to bed today at 10:00, stick to work, three hours without a phone, etc.)
To accomplish a small goal, I will satisfy a small desire of my own.
The introduction of small incentives and constant feedback on their behaviour is a fourth solution to the resistance.
So let’s talk about power.
03
From my own experience, the power can be divided into three categories:
1. A vision of beauty 2 , giving meaning 3 , strengths and interests
First of all, a good vision.
Many studies have shown that a vision of what it has accomplished can be effective in enhancing motivation and success rates before doing something.
This phase allows you to imagine, for example, what kind of person you want to be in the future, what kind of life you want, the more detailed you want.
It is then written on a convenient sticker, on the bedside, in wallpaper, always reminding itself to work for that beautiful vision.
In essence, it’s a way of using a long-term vision to suppress the desire for interference that you now and then have from time to time, and to use the future to drive you now.
If you don’t think about it for a while, think about your life when you’re rich.
But remembering that it is impossible to imagine a happy ending, it must be written on paper as a visualized document to remind itself at all times.
The second point is to give meaning.
A lot of people have asked me — what’s the point of doing something?
“What’s the point of my reading? “What’s the point of dating?” “What does life mean?” “What’s the point of living?” I’m sorry.
It’s really too little work…
Many things, including life itself, are meaningless.
If life really has a standard meaning, what difference does it make? Life exists when you give it meaning.
By the same token, before you begin to do something, you yourself have to give it a big meaning.
For example, to learn to account for what you’re going to account for, and not to make a false accounting of you.
I’m sure you’ll be able to eat chicken with a foreign blonde in English.
I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college, and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to go to college and I’m going to see you.
As to the meaning to be given, each individual’s quest is different, so just think about what he likes. When you give it that meaning, all learning becomes mission-intensive and doesn’t want to stop.
Number three, advantages and interests.
I must remind you of one thing: do not do what you are not good at, do not do what you do not like, do not force yourself to do what others think is good.
Everyone else is learning English, but you’re having a headache when you see a word, so don’t follow your back, master the “bad English principle” and know how to use translation software when you need it.
If you don’t have any advantage or interest in English, you do math, or if you find yourself very interested in studying short videos and writing, then you should practice and get into it.
Believe me, in the future you don’t have to force yourself to do things you’re not good at, and there are people who are good at those things. You don’t have to be you. You just have to stay short and make the best of your interests.
Success is easier when you do what you like and are good at.
Think about what you remember all these years, when you’ve been complimented, when you’ve felt your worth — even for a small moment, for what? In what situation?
Take out a piece of paper for a simple table analysis, find something like this, and go and do it.
After that, you will no longer need self-control, because you will have an inexhaustible incentive.
04
Let’s finally share our thoughts:
The saltfish is invincible!
Please unload your idols.
I used to be perfect, and I wanted to do everything once and for all, but now I’m always thinking:
“It’s okay, a salty fish like me can sit at the desk for an hour and finish 10 pages first. I’m sorry.
“What, a salty fish like me can rise an hour earlier than yesterday. It’s good. I’m sorry.
When people start to forgive themselves, they become powerful, because every step you take forward is for you.
Never again will you be disappointed and blame yourself for failing to meet your own unrealistic expectations, but you will be able to thank yourself and be with yourself from within. Case number: YXA1pJ1Ep1KhA348Q5mC5E5D
I don’t know.
Keep your eyes on the road.
